Happy Fathers Day to my husband from Blue Sky Bagels - thanks for nothing. After you burnt my husbands pre cooked bacon, you put the top of your tiny dry bagel on and served it to him. Then we had to stand at the counter and wait for 10 minutes for one of the 15 employees to let us pay $13 for two tiny bagels and some coffee that both majorly lack quality. We actually waited so long to pay that people behind us waiting to pay too started joking with us about how the bagels must be free for Father's Day. If we weren't honest people, we easily could have just walked out unnoticed with free bagels. There was no creamer or half and half by the coffee and I literally had to walk into the kitchen ask for it because no one paid any attention to us or any of the other customers. The trash can was stuck closed so we couldn't even throw away any of our trash when we wanted to leave. I don't know why this place has any good reviews because honestly Einstien Bagels is close enough to go to instead and they have way better bigger bagels and have better friendlier service, and good coffee with half and half at the coffee counter. Call ahead orders are routinely forgotten about or I’m usually left regretting calling ahead as it would be faster to just wait at the end of the line with all of the customers in the store instead of calling 20 minutes beforehand. The staff are young and friendly but not great at managing customers or resetting expectations.
I recently had a call ahead order for just 1 bagel. I was told they needed 10-15 minutes. I arrived when they told me to, waited 10 minutes without being acknowledged or even looked at, and then when I checked in on my pickup order I was just told “we don’t have that” and the girl walked away. I understand things are busy and the staff is young, but the interactions I’ve had here have just been disappointing.

Read moreTerrible service today. Usually I love this place, but recently it has gone very downhill in terms of service. This afternoon was some of the worst I've experienced. No one greeted any of us customers when we got up to the counter. The male employee was texting on his phone while the man in front of me was talking to him. There was 4 staff members on the line(more than enough). They all didn't seem to know what their place was, causing disjunction, slow service, and lack of any communication. Only 3 of us in line and it took 15 mins when normally it's around 5 mins. I'm just glad my order was right. However, y'all have upped your prices and haven't changed your menu board, unless you have and I was just overcharged. The sandwich was a bit cold because of the lack of any urgency among the 4 staff members. Then my sandwich almost fell apart and came out of the wrapper, because it was poorly wrapped.
