Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Meridian

Stopped into Krispy Kreme today to check out their Harry Potter series. I have seen them all over social media. Being a huge Harry Potter fan, I had make my way in for a Slytherine donut.

It was later in the afternoon when I made it in. They still had a great variety of treats. As many options as they have, nothing beats the classic glazed. Especially when they are still hot and freshly made. I looked over all their options and as tempting as it was to get a whole dozen, I just got my Slytherine donut and a couple minis for my Grandma.

While checking out, I noticed the Harry Potter themed drinks. How delicious does a the golden snitch sound? It sounded fun and fantastic so I had to snag one. I asked the sweet lady if they had milk alternatives. I have never ordered coffee here before so it's nice to know they have oat milk here. Got myself a small drink with oat milk. The sweet gal asked if I wanted whipped cream. I told her why not! My drink was so pretty! It had caramel driverless drizzled on top with gold glitter flakes. The perfect golden snitch!

My coffee was tasty and surprisingly it wasn't overtly sweet since there was a think layer of syrup on the bottom. It was rich and creamy from the oat milk. My donut was ok. It had been sitting out so it wasn't the freshest but it was still nice. I love the Slytherine fondant charm they put on the donut. I'll be saving that, it's too nice to eat.

It's been a long time since I have had a donut from this place. I used to live around the area so grabbing a hot donut in the morning was easy for me. It's a bummer they are so far but I'm happy I got to stop in for a little treat today. Looking forward to seeing what their next themed donut is going be! Hopefully it's something fun so I have a reason to come back...

For the first time in my life I tried Krispy Kreme coffee a few months back. It was so good I even called my sister to let her know that it was better than Dutch Bros! Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Dutch Bros. I was so dang excited to find that I absolutely loved Krispy Kreme coffee! I went a few times a week, in the mornings

But recently I went in the evening and I bought two coffees on my way out of town. . . The first one I tried was so bad I asked for a remake. I’m usually too embarrassed to ask someone to remake something, but it was REAL BAD and It had to have had chocolate in it when it was just supposed to be caramel. While the employee was remaking it, I tried the other one and it was also really bad. We’re trying to hit the road I didn’t want to wait for her to remake that one too, so I asked her for a refund. We’ve already been there so long. It took so long to make the original two coffees, And then we had to wait for a 1st to be a remake, and didn’t really have the time to wait for the second one to be a remake as well. She hesitated when I asked her my money back and my husband got flustered and just left. No refund. Two original coffees and a remake all went in the trash at the next stop. . . I haven’t been back since- I’m too scared to. It was such a bad experience. Maybe the secret is to just hit the morning crew… maybe they don’t teach the evening crew how to make coffee ? I don’t know y’all… but it was bad!

I hadn't been to Krispy Kreme's for years. My sister was talking about how good their donuts are, so a couple of days later, off we went. They greeted us with a friendly welcome and the very nice lady that waited on the four of us, me, my husband, my sister and her husband, was so very nice. While we were choosing our donuts, she said that if we ordered a dozen, she would only charge us for a half a dozen. Wow! What a deal! We each ordered three donuts. When we got to the cash register, she told us she thought she could do a little better on the price and she gave us the whole dozen free!! We don't know why. We're all still surprised and so pleased and amazed. It was such a wonderful thing for her to do! We are all so appreciative of her gesture, that we can hardly wait to go back to such a friendly place. And of course the donuts are INCREDIBLE! If you've never had a Krispy Kreme donut, I recommend that you start with the original and I just know you'll be a fan! That's the one I always get! Makes my mouth water just thinking about them. The donuts are amazing and the staff is wonderful!! I highly recommend...
