IMPERIUM GRILL — Restaurant in Meridian

First time here. We came because there was an article in BoiseDev that piqued our interest because we like smoky bbq. We would’ve never known just by the name alone that it was a barbecue place, (“Imperium” to us seems like it could’ve been a vape or tattoo shop). I wish there was a sign underneath saying “bbq” or “grill”.

We ordered chicken thigh, pork belly, and ribeye meats with the bacon wrapped mushroom. The food was delicious, BUT it was very small portions. What was missing was some sort of side dish such as a rice or mashed potato or vegetable option included with the meat skewer.

Yes! Just yes! 👏🏻 Excellent in each aspect. Service is super efficient. Our server was extremely polite, sweet and helped us with the menu. They have a very interesting and unique offering of all grilled over charcoal live-fire grill different sort of meat and seafood - we truly enjoyed! The food was absolutely fabulous just perfection. We have been waiting for something different and unique to come to the Treasure Valley and this place was an amazing find! The price was perfect to be able to experience multiple choices, all cooked on a charcoal grill. The flavor transfered from their cooking method is delicious in itself then adding the high quality sauces takes it out of this world.
