72 Park — Local services in Miami Beach

I recommended 72 Park to my parents for their visit to Miami, thinking it would be a great place to stay. I deeply regret it.

They were placed on a very low floor, even after repeatedly requesting a higher one to avoid the constant construction noise surrounding the building - there were plenty of rooms available. Everything around the site is under construction — the noise and traffic are unbearable.

To make things worse, the A/C didn’t work for four out of seven days. Despite multiple complaints, no one fixed it, offered a room change, or showed the slightest concern. My parents had to endure the Miami heat with no air conditioning, and by the fourth day, the air smelled like a mix of mold and rotten fruit.

It didn’t end there. After paying for a full-week parking package (very overpriced btw), they were wrongfully charged extra fees by the third-party company that manages the parking. The building’s management simply blamed that company, as if outsourcing excuses responsibility.

But it doesn’t — the kind of partners you hire reflects how you treat your guests.

That parking company is a nightmare: no real customer service, only automated messages, and the longer you wait, the more fees pile up. Even though the charge was clearly a mistake, they kept sending collection threats.

This entire experience was beyond disappointing — it was unacceptable. I will never stay at 72 Park, and I strongly recommend no one else...

I had the pleasure of staying at 72 Park last night. It was phenomenal! The property is an oasis in NoBe, Miami Beach. The staff at the front desk was welcoming and efficient. Shout out to Al! The lobby is spacious and decorated beautifully. The finish and attention to detail is evidenced in every part of the property. The pool deck is a dream, plenty of chaise lounges and cabana-like day beds. The pool itself is massive, inviting and visually appealing. There is an outdoor lounge, also beautiful. The landscaping is lush and artistically varied. There is a superior fitness room and cowork space on the pool floor, as well. The hallways are bright, wide, and spotless. My guest suite was immaculate, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen really contains everything you would need to make any gourmet meal your heart desires along with everything you need to just heat something up if you're feeling lazy. There is a full size fridge a dishwasher and a washing machine and dryer in the guest Suite. The bedroom had a large closet the bed itself the Linens in the towels are all top notch quality. The unit I stayed in had a tremendous wraparound balcony. Had a wonderful stay and this will now be my go-to for accommodations...

Great week spent here in October. The accommodation was spacious, clean and well appointed. We were in PH-08 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a huge balcony with great views to the distance, although the nearer views were of a building site! Only few little bits that could have been improved would be a lamp in the lounge area instead of the really bright ceiling light for night time, and more furniture on the balcony instead of just 2 chairs and a tiny table. A couple of the reception staff seemed a little unsure about certain things, such as wifi passwords and how to arrange a late checkout. You get directed to a phone number instead to ask these sorts of questions which feels a little odd. There's also nowhere to store your luggage if needed after checkout but there is a Bounce location that can do it just around the corner. The pool area was great with lots of big beds and sun loungers when we were there, and the pool was a great temperature. There's no bar or food available around the pool, but that's not really what this place is about. You just take your own! It's really close to the free Miami beach shuttle stop...
