If I could give 0 stars, I would. For my husband's birthday we decided to come eat here. We hadn't been here in years and felt like it was good last minute choice. We walked and they kindly accommodated a table of fifteen. Since there are no reservations, we were pleased. Our waiter from the beginning (lady with light brown hair in a ponytail, very very long hair up to her bottom) was giving us attitude, making us shout across the table for each person to order. Whatever, it was fine. Then we started sweating because it was hot in there, but we were fine. Then, we got our food, it was disgusting but not only that, the prices did match the quality of the food. However, we were fine and having fun and celebrating my husbands birthday. We even had some laughs about but still said nothing. Then, we ordered a cake for my husband to sing happy birthday and he ended up stepping out when all the staff was ready to sing. Suddenly the waitress was pissed and was giving attitude because the birthday person wasn't present. She was being disrespectful and mad. He came back ten minutes later, and she refused to sing and was telling the other waiters about what was happening and why she was mad etc. She didn't even care that we were sitting right there and made this whole commotion and gave us major attitude. She was clearly talking about us and had another finish with our orders and bills because she was so mad, she didn't even want to come back to our table.
It is not worth coming to spend your money here. The food is GROSS, it is hot in there. We ordered a steak that was chewy, the Milanesas taste like NOTHING. Even the churros were horrible and they used to be known for their churros. Each big plate ranges from 20-35 dollars and it is absolutely not worth that. Spend your money somewhere else, this place is NOT what it used to be. Also, they add resort fee and included 18% tip for horrible service. We still tipped her and paid for our full bill. We even let the manager know and he did absolutely nothing and even charged us for my husband's slice of cake. He did NOTHING....
Read moreWaitress... You must get eye contact with the waitress with long blonde hair in a ponytail if you needed something and she was forgetful. Didn't get everyone's order from our party. I had to wait for her to look my way and waive her down so she never came by to see how everything was. The table runners were more attentive and polite in providing the essentials and ordering extra food needed and the meal my friend what is the order of late because we had to wait for the waitresses attention. To get our check took 4ever! Would be ez to walk out of the restaurant without paying 😞 lack of attention from the blonde waitress. She was overwhelmed The chicken soup tasted like old lemon with gooshie noodles, nasty! Was not able to finish it.
The miga sandwiches was not made with pan de miga, it was made with something that look like with H-E-B bare bread.
the cappuccino helado, it was a tall glass with 7/8 whipping cream and a shot of coffee in a tall glass. Since this was not good, I ordered Cafe Con leche. It was good.
The chimichurri for the empanada was tasty. It gave the flavorless empanadas a twist of flavor.
Manolo is overpriced for the quality and quantity of food and the schmuck waitress.
It is not like it was in the good old days. It was a very stressful meal. I brought my family there a party of six, and even the salad was messed up.. Also having all the TVs on the depressing news did not help. One goes to a enjoy a meal and not be depressed from the sad news.
If you don't speak Spanish you better make sure you have an app to translate and talk loud enough to be heard. The place is very loud.
This cafeteria needs much improvement 😕 and don't recommend it. There are more Argentinian restaurants in the Miami Beach area to enjoy they have better food and service and well...
Read moreI don’t understand how the chicken baguette has arugula and mozzarella cheese. I ordered a simple dish, a chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato on the side nothing more and nothing less…. The menu was not described to me and I wasn’t aware that the sandwich did not come with fries. When my dish was arrived I couldn’t even eat it the arugula with the chicken breast and mozzarella combination had a terrible disgusting taste to it. It’s not in my control if the waitress does not know English. That is not in my control. I requested a simple chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato on the side nothing more and nothing less. It doesn’t even end there. Then another server approaches asking how’s everything I asked him I want whip cream with my ice latte and he said it’s extra. I responded it’s fine I don’t expect nothing free. He brings the whip cream and starts cleaning the table next to me- it gets worse: HE STARTS CLEANING THE TABLE NEXT TO ME AND PUTS THE DIRTY DISHES ON THE TABLE I WAS EATING! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO A PAYING CUSTOMER!?!? I’m also a waitress and I would never do such a disrespectful act to a person eating lunch, overall not a pleasant experience and overall not a good place to order food if there’s a language barrier. How can you hire employees who don’t know English. We are in America people. Please do the effort learn English. It’s a chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato on the side nothing more and nothing less....
