To start off, I needed a new laptop for work and personal projects but I didn’t have the budget to make the upgrade. So my sister gave me her broken MacBook Pro hoping I could get it repaired and use it. We first took the laptop to the Apple store but they told us the laptop had water damage and it will cost $900 to repair it. That wasn’t an option so I took the laptop to UbreakiFix to see if they can repair it but they told us the logic board was fried and they couldn’t replace it. I even called another repair company asking how much to replace a logic board and they told me $700.
