THESE BIG COMPANIES WONDER WHY EVERYONE IS TURNING TO ONLINE SHOPPING AND HOME DELIVERY!!! TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND APPRECIATION FOR THE PEOPLE WHO KEEP THEIR ENTIRE OPERATION AFLOAT, THE CUSTOMER!! MARK DOWN PRICES IF YOU CANNOT GET ENOUGH PEOPLE TO WORK IN THE STORE, GET SOME AUTOMATED CHECKOUT KIOSKS, OR OFFER TO PAY PEOPLE A LIVABLE WAGE TO WORK FOR YOU, THE CURRENT SYSTEM WILL BE YOUR DEMISE KOHL'S!!!! Very disorganized at checkout!! Had one long line for checkout and returns together, got in that line for 10 minutes, I was next to be called when 2 new people walked in through the front door and formed a new line behind the people already at the returns counter. They were called to be waited on first, then one of the only 2 people at the return counter was called away to do something else as soon as I was next in line. I waited about 25 minutes just to return one pair of shoes and the line wasn't all that crazy it was just due to how disorganized the whole thing was. I also had an online pickup and the people at the return counter said they could only complete the return but couldn't get my online order for me. I had to go to an entirely separate area of the store in the middle of the Jr's dept where I waited another 10 minutes to pickup online order. UNLESS I HEAR A REPORT THAT SOMETHING HAS CHANGED IN THERE, TODAY WAS MY LAST SHOPPING MISADVENTURE WITH KOHL'S, TOO MUCH OTHER CONVENIENT SHOPPING OPTIONS ONLINE THAN TO WASTE AN ENTIRE SUNDAY JUST RETURNING ONE PAIR OF SHOES AND PICKING UP AN ONLINE ORDER OF 2 OTHER PAIRS OF SHOES!!! ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Kohls has made terrible changes to their checkouts. They force a huge wrap around line through a bunch of merchandise and then it dumps you into self check out. The other line with one cashier is at the customer service desk. This is also labeled as their online pick up and return. All in one line. Their self pick up is all just sitting there with no direction, in bags on shelves that anyone could take. The self checkouts are glitchy and constantly go off for clothes with anti theft tags. I usually buy 300-500 dollars of clothes at a time at kohls for kids seasons. Wonāt be doing that when I have to check myself out! Separate the hangers, take off all of the ink tags. Try to stick it all in a tiny bag. Even buying online and picking up is a pain. No workers to point you in the right direction. Stood in line just to be directed to self pick up, but it was a large item and wasnāt self pick up. Stood in another line to finally get my item from behind the counter. Who makes these...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Kohl's is large which would be nice as it offers more selection than other locations. However the store is a mess. Hard to find stuff, shelves are disorganized, just a huge mess. My mom came with me once and hated the mess so much she won't come again. She's a frequent Kohl's shopper just prefers the cleaner more organized store in Springfield. I suspect it is a staffing issue or management issue as I see the employees who are in the store are very busy cleaning or running register. Hire more people and work on the perception of it being a mess. A co-worker mentioned to me how messy this location was and how it was hard to find anything so this perception is based on multiple people. This store has long hours which is convenient and I wish them success. I'll come back when it's not a mess because the location is ideal for me and the large amount of inventory is nice. Just can't find much in the current mess and trying to wade through mess makes...
