Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Miami Township

I live in the neighborhood and have always had pleasant experiences here. However, this time was quite different. My sister and I came here at about like 9 pm on a Saturday night. My sister is here from Philly so I was showing her why I love the miamisburg area. We walk in and began looking for a seat....there were about 4 empty chairs at the bar ...we were about to go sit at the bar until a waitress stopped us in our tracks and told us that due to a big crowd that came in before us they were not able to serve us and that the kitchen staff is already bombed with orders so . So we tell her we just wanted a couple of drinks and we wouldn't order food. She looked at the bartender and told her we just wanted drinks.....the bartender just looked at her and then walked away. So she's like yea sorry we can't serve y'all .......so my sister walk out and I look around again just to make sure I'm not tripping.....it wasn't at capacity, there were empty tables and booths but we were told that we could not be served. I'm an observer so when I get back to my car......and I sat there for a minute because there were other people driving up and walking up to the door and there were also many people about to leave. I observed the ones going in, not coming back out and having a seat ...with the exception of one guy who walked back out but wasn't prompted to or wasn't stopped at the door like we were. In this situation......it's safe to say that I truly TRULY felt like I was sent to "colors only" water fountain like my ancestors had to do...we are black and everyone else in there including the ones who came in the door after we were turned away were white ...as much money that I have spent here.....I was LIVID.....and will never patronize this place again....I get if we came close to closing time or something like that but they still were going to be open for another 2 hours...

Went to Buffalo wild wings at the Austin landing location for a nice lunch date with my partner. We went right around noon so there was quite the crowd which didn't bother me. We didn't wait very long for the host to seat us but we got seated at the smallest table possible. This wouldn't have bothered me at any other restaurant but with the trays they bring you I felt way too cramped. As well as there was another party so close to us which probably broke some sort of covid seating rule since it was at a table compared to a booth. That issue aside our waitress was one of the most unenthused people I've ever met in my life. As she took our order I felt very rushed as she's just trying to get us in and out the door as quick as possible. The first thing I said before my drink order was "we're going to do this appetizer" and our waitress did acknowledge this. Then I proceeded to give the rest of my order. We get our drinks and probably 10-15 minutes pass before we got anything. It wasn't even our appetizer. It was our entrée. We never received our appetizer. My drink also sat at the end of our table empty for a good 5-7 minutes before I was even asked if I wanted a refill. The food was absolutely delicious but the service...

I am ONLY giving this 2 stars, because the food was exactly what you expect from BW3.

Food was good, however the service was poor. The server was in NO hurry to help us. The hostess brought us our drinks from the bar, because she noticed how long we were waiting for our drinks, We had to get refills from another server. Napkins and utensils from another. Our server came by and asked how we would like our check split. I said on one is fine. He disappeared for 15 minutes, and then came back and asked AGAIN how we would like our check split.. I felt like I was being held hostage unable to leave due to not being able to pay the bill..

....and not a manager in sight (I would hide my face too)

This is our 2nd time in a row of having poor service at this location. There is an obvious problem at the Austin Landing BW3's location.

We will be going to another location, or driving to Monroe to have Wings & Rings from now on.

I look forward to the COPY & PASTE response from BW3's telling me to go to their website so they "can make it right" or "address it...
