I started with Legacy a few months after returning to fitness post-maternity leave, with about 15 pounds left to lose from my pregnancy weight. My only āliftingā experience before this was a year at Orange Theory and a couple of months at F45. Now, Iām almost a year in, going twice a week, every week, and while I mix in other types of workouts, Legacy is definitely partly responsible for getting me into the best shape Iāve ever been.
A few things I love about Legacy: they make the gym feel accessible for pretty much any fitness level. Their Partner Interval Training (PIT) classesāwhere you team up and work through 20 stations combining plyometric cardio, free weights, and machinesākeep things fun, challenging, and hold you accountable to your partner. Mondays and Thursdays are āstrengthā days, so itās all about fewer reps and heavier weights, which I love.
But hands down, my favorite part of Legacy is Coach Ezekiel and his noon class. Even though he asks me every day where my husband is and why I canāt get him to join, heās truly the most motivating, challenging, funny, and authentic trainer Iāve ever had. Like he legit gives you an entire motivational sermon at the start of every class. His classes are definitely the hardest, but theyāre also the bestāand his music is absolute and complete š„š„š„. He still owes me a freaking PLAYLIST, but Iāll keep coming back because...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been coming here for a few months, and I can honestly say that I genuinely love legacy fit I do my classes with Rachel, Ezekiel, Marcus, or legend. They are all equally amazing and possess and individuality that makes it so thrilling to come here. They are all very motivating, and the music choices always fire!
Ezekielās classes are very intense in a good way, he provides such empowering and motivating words that make you want to come back. Rachel is so kind and genuinely cares about her students. She makes the class so engaging and even dances with her students which I love Marcus is a very goofy person but he takes his classes seriously and he pay attention to all students even when heās not teaching a class. I have yet to take any of legends morning classes because Iām not a morning person lol, I have seen him teach, and heās very dedicated and passionate about what he does for his community.
I feel very proud to be a part of such an amazing establishment and I donāt see myself leaving anytime soon. They all also provide personal training besides the classes, and I love that thereās an open gym, a cold plunge, and a sauna, because God knows I needed it after these workouts, LOL.
