If you're on the hunt for a reliably delicious spot for Sunday brunch, look no further than Cracker Barrel. This iconic restaurant has built a reputation for serving up comfort food with a side of Southern charm, and it consistently delivers on both fronts. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The rustic decor, wooden rocking chairs, and old-timey country store create an ambiance that transports you to a simpler, more nostalgic era. Now, onto the main event: the food. Cracker Barrel has mastered the art of comfort cuisine. Whether you're in the mood for classic breakfast dishes or hearty lunch options, their menu has something for everyone. The Sunday brunch offerings are particularly delightful. One can't help but salivate over the thought of fluffy pancakes, perfectly scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and their signature biscuits. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring you leave the table with a satisfied belly and a contented heart. The staff at Cracker Barrel deserves a special mention. Their genuine friendliness and attentive service contribute to the overall positive dining experience. You'll feel like more than just a customer; you'll feel like a cherished guest in their home. While the food and service consistently hit the mark, there is room for a slight improvement in terms of variety. Although the menu caters to a wide range of tastes, a few more innovative or contemporary options could add an exciting twist to the dining experience without sacrificing the restaurant's beloved comfort-food identity. In addition, the popularity of Cracker Barrel can sometimes lead to longer wait times during peak hours, especially on Sundays when brunch is in full swing. However, this just speaks to the restaurant's popularity and the fact that many others are drawn to its delectable offerings. All in all, Cracker Barrel is a reliable choice for a Sunday brunch that warms both your taste buds and your soul. Its consistent deliciousness, inviting ambiance, and friendly staff create an enjoyable experience that keeps customers coming back time and time again. Whether you're seeking a leisurely meal with family, friends, or even just a solo excursion to indulge in some comfort food, Cracker Barrel is a quintessential Southern gem that won't disappoint.

We often order a sandwich that is no longer on the menu but can get if we ask. Grilled chicken on non-toasted sour dough bread. We really like it. We ordered it at our local store on January 11th. But this time it fell far short of what we would normally receive. The 1st sandwich came with bacon on it and cheese sauce all over the top. The second came with toasted bread, which we were quite clear in telling the server we did not want. The 3rd came quite quickly, so I am sure they took it to the kitchen and just replaced the bread, which was not at all fresh. Did I say it also came without the fries. On top of all this the bill was much higher than normal. I think we got charged for that 1st sandwich with the cheese on top. Again, we often order this no longer on the menu item because we like it, but this will be the last time we attempt to order it. We always like our experience at Cracker Barrel but not last night. The manager came over right after we got the 3rd sandwich, but I got the feeling he could care less. The place was packed and I am sure the kitchen was buzzing, but we have never had a worse experience at your store. We paid with a gift card that we buy ourselves threw our bank points. We gave the cashier the card with more than enough tip

This was my first ever experience at this restaurant and it was amazing! When you enter, there's a store with all kinds of unique (want a rooster snow globe?) and higher quality items (shirts, scarfs, games, books, candy, etc), though overpriced. The seating was spacious and the service was awesome!! Not too involved but always attentive. The food was excellent (went for breakfast) with many very fairly priced items compared to other breakfast chains. I ordered biscuits and gravy and got a side of grits..my only (small) complaint was the size was tiny, but then again it was only $1.99 .. so can't really complain. The grits were amazing! The decor is unique and entertaining and on that note, every table has a little game to play while waiting for food. There's a real fireplace burning and it felt cozy. It wasn't busy when I went either so that helped the relaxing feeling... Like at grandma's on the farm. Can't wait to try lunch and dinner here!! Really loved it!! #edit Went back for a second time and had dinner. Was not disappointed!

We were seated quickly and kindly, then it was all downhill from there. We were sat next to a wall with food particles all over it. Our food was taking forever, but it was busy, so that's understandable..so the waitress brought our buscuits/butter out first..with no silverware.. So we ate with our hands. The plates she brought us had food stuck to them so we had to use napkins to wipe them off. By the time we finished our biscuits my girlfriends drink was empty and stayed empty another 20 minutes until our food came out...but we couldn't eat it because we still had no silverware..so we had to wait a few minutes for the silverware and drink. By the time we got our silverware our food wasn't even hot, it was just warm from sitting. The waitress forgot my mashed potatoes, and then brought them out a few minutes later covered in gravy when I asked for no gravy..so i sent them back. Our chicken and dumplings was mostly gravy. I had barely any chicken in mine and my girlfriend only had 3 full dumplings in hers. All we got was like bottom small stuff. The waitress asked if I wanted ketchup for my hashbrowns and I said YES but she never brought it. My hashbrowns were half the size of the last time I came. Then when I got the bill, I was charged for a meal with 3 sides even though I never got my mashed potatoes and then for some reason I was charged an extra $1 for hashbrowns when I already paid for a meal with 3 sides. I got hashbrowns, mac, and mashed potatoes...but I never got the potatoes because they were made wrong..so why was I charged full price plus and extra dollar when I didn't even get all my food? Then when I expressed my issues to the waitress and told her we were about to leave because she was making so many errors...she chose to turn her back to me and talk quietly to my girlfriend by apologizing to her and offering her complimentary food which made my girlfriend really uncomfortable because she was irritated too because of the poor service. That situation was just very disrespectful and the service was the worst service I've ever experienced. On a positive note...the food was good and tasted fresh. The hostess and the cashier were very nice...

OK, so it was another night trying to figure out dinner Cracker Barrel it was. Had problems with the website ordering system but thought we had it all worked out. got down there a few minutes later than when they said the food would be ready because I figured they would be slammed on a Friday night anyways. so it wasn't up on the shelf to go checked in with the lady who couldn't find it in the system which threw up the first red flag. The young kid working check out, said that it wouldn't because it was paid for through the website so he radioed back to the kitchen. They told him it wasn't quite ready yet and would be coming out soon so about 15 minutes later I asked again told him all three of the names that it could've been under and nothing. The kitchen manager came out, asked again for the order and the name it was under went back to check everything nothing second red flag. Got the general manager to come over asked me what the order was and the names that it could've been under to look again nothing third red flag order wasn't in the system. It had already done my debit card for dinner and the order was nowhere in sight.. kitchen manager said they could put it in right away and I asked if it would be like another 45 minutes because I've already been there about that long waiting and she said no they put a rush on it. so about 15 minutes later here everything came they had to order right had to substitute one item which at that point it didn't really matter.. But the kitchen manager and the general manager ended up saving Friday night dinner because I was already thinking about options. and I was the second time in a row when they couldn't find the order or the names that it was under so I think it'd be better to go inside and eat dinner or maybe skip it and go somewhere else if you're trying to get takeout, but the managers did really come through and get the food rushed...
