El Rancho Grande - Milford — Restaurant in Milford

My mom and I went around 5:30 tonight (Tuesday). This was my second time there since they opened but it was her first. Just as my first visit, the food was stellar! It was fast, so fresh, and the portions were enough for 2. The frozen margarita was tasty and nice and strong, also the happy hour $6.50 price tag was a great surprise! If only the service was as good as the food... server was on his phone when he dropped off the drinks which I think we can all agree is rude. He was also pretty inattentive for the most part and we had to flag down another server for water refill when our guy took the cup to do so and never came back. It took multiple times asking to get the lemon we asked for when ordering the waters and we never did get more salsa as requested. We both are/have been in the service industry so we understand that "off" nights happen but we also know it should be brought to the attention of the powers that be so the kinks can be worked out. With all that being said, I fully intend to go back...

I came in tonight and was served by a sweet girl named Caitlyn. There was zero issues with the food or service they were both amazing. But unfortunately there was a verbal altercation between Caitlyn and some rude and quite creepy guests. Two grown men who were clearly intoxicated and making her extremely uncomfortable had to be yelled at by Caitlyn and her parents who ended up coming in because management wouldn’t stand up for her. This seems to be a recurring issue with these guests specifically and management has done nothing and to my understanding even encouraged their behavior. I’m extremely upset for her and it getting to a point she needed her parents for backup. One of the men even seems to have left a review telling her to “grow up”. This is honestly disgusting and much less than just poor...

I can honestly say that this is hands down the best Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurant I have ever been to. I'm not a huge Mexican cuisine fan, but happily obliged my S/O to come here.

I tried the Burrito Chilango and let me just tell you brother.... it was life changing. The service was excellent. They did an awesome job on the atmosphere. You're not cramped in on top of other people, there is plenty of space and I'm a bigger fella. There was plenty of natural lighting, and the interior was well done.

Back to the food. The Burrito Chilango... I'm sitting in the parking lot right now writing this review trying to decide if I can even drive home because I might go into a food coma. The absolute best dish I have ever had.
