I recently had the pleasure of dining at Texas Roadhouse, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Every aspect of my visit, from the warm and inviting atmosphere to the delectable food and outstanding service, exceeded my expectations. Here's why Texas Roadhouse deserves my highest praise:

Long time fan, but no longer after tonight. Our last several visits have not gone well. My wife and I came in for our anniversary a while back and waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food because the waitress forgot to put the ticket in. I joked around with the waitress because She was sincerely apologetic and I understand mistakes happen.

Tonight was my son‘s 25th birthday and he chose Texas roadhouse in Milford for his dinner. When I first got seated I told the waitress it was his birthday, but his birthday was never acknowledged by the staff. This is the second time we’ve been in for a birthday and receive no acknowledgment. I ordered my steak medium and it came out well done. I did not see the waitress for probably 20 minutes to ask for it to be replaced, so I just ate it because everybody else was finishing up their meals.

At the end I requested to speak to the manager, my main concern was another special occasion that was some what ruined since they did not acknowledge my son‘s birthday. My steak was the least of my concerns. When the manager arrived, I spoke with him very nicely and discreetly And explained the few things they had done wrong on this visit. He then said I’ll be right back and disappeared for close to 10 minutes. Upon his return he said he did an investigation and it appeared that there was no wrongdoing on their end. He gave me a coupon and told me to have a good night and walked away. I really wasn’t very upset the whole experience until I felt that the manager had called me a liar. Swing and a miss on our first carry-out with Roadhouse Milford- probably be our last for awhile. Hoping it was just an off-night because we generally like the Roadhouse. First, our order pickup time was 3:10 pm. Not generally a rush time, being post-lunch and pre-dinner. When I arrived @ 3:12 pm I was told the food wasn't done and was asked to wait. No worries! 3:30 pm my food finally arrives. No explanation or apology, just a "here's your food." I don't need much, but after a 20 minute delay I was hoping for at least a, "Sorry for the delay Sir." Oh well! So I do a quick check and everything seems in order. When I get home I discover one of my wife's two sides is missing and Ingredients for my potato were missing. Again, not a huge deal but I did pay extra for the loaded potato ingredients. After 20 extra minutes, I do kind of expect the order to be right. So the final straw was the sirloin... It was just plain BAD! It was tough as leather, overcooked, and dry (very dry). Essentially it tasted like the thing had been cooked the night before and warmed up in a microwave the next day. Not Good! Not good at all.

UPDATE: I was contacted by a representative for the Roadhouse and invited back with some small incentives. It would be impossible to expect any business to provide perfect service to every single customer, every single visit. We all make mistakes and have bad days, but I was always taught it's the way you respond to those situations that dictates character. The invitation was a lovely gesture and I certainly applaud their commitment to customer service. We will likely not return anytime soon, but I will definitely give back two stars on...
