I had an awful experience trying to return my Xfinity router at this location. The manager stated that all Xfinity internet users in Milford and Orange must use the Xfinity routers instead of personal ones. However, I had my own router working perfectly at home, and the installation team had advised me that using my own router was better in the long run. Also, it’s a common XB5 router not a fiber router.
When I asked the manager for clarification on this rule, she simply said, "I didn’t make up the rule," without offering any explanation. This so-called requirement was nowhere in my contract and seemed to violate common regulations. She flatly refused to accept my router return.
Later that night, I called Xfinity customer service, and they confirmed that I could indeed use my own router and instructed me to return the router to their stores.
