This rating is based on customer service and not product. The person who appeared to be the manager on duty and was training a new staff member completely ignored me and two other customers who were waiting to check out. Her back was turned to us while she was doing something with her phone. Texting perhaps? She had already finished with the trainee and left him to deal with a purchase that involved ordering an item to be delivered to the home of the customer (my wife) because the size was not in stock. It took over 15 minutes to complete the transaction because he didn't know how to do it and had to rely on instructions from the person on the other end of the line, all while the manager had disappeared to the back of the store when she finished on her phone while everyone waited, and even though she saw people in line when she abandoned the guy. When she did return it was obvious that she didn't want to be there. Maybe, just maybe, she shouldn't be in customer service...

I placed an order on 6/16/19 using a merchant credit for $100.99 and $3.65 using a visa credit card. The items were returned and shipped on 6/17/19 and Eddie Bauer received the item on 7/1/19. Received a call from EB on 7/7/19 that they are processing the refund. The refund to my visa was credited on 7/11/19 but the merchant credit check of $100.99 until today was not received after several follow-ups.

When you call them in the 1-800 number it takes forever to wait to speak for a manager.

I do not know who was so rude when I tried to return something yesterday that I got online. She was the only person at the register area with NO customers so I come up to her while she is writing something on a paper that I wanted to return an item. She immediately got up and say "don't you see I'm busy please wait" in a rude voice. DO NOT SHOP THERE !!
