GameStop — Local services in Milpitas

This Gamestop has a lot more of everything since this location is pretty big. They carry a lot more stuff that other Gamestop locations don't carry. I was looking for a specific shirt and no other Gamestop close to me carried it, but this location did have it. I love that they have two display cases full of Collectible statues. They also have lots of action figures, cup, mugs, accessories, clothing, backpacks, funko pops, and lots more random fun stuff. Employees are cool and helpful. Quick tip, if your coming to this Gamestop location and not the mall specifically, park where the AMC theater is located. The Gamestop is just across the theater. Arrived at 6:30pm for midnight launch after work to pay off my preorder and wait till 9pm launch. Was told at the door I couldn't pay off my preorder yet and had to wait in that long line of people first till they start processing preorders at 8pm. After waiting for an hour and a half, I then was told to come back tomorrow because they ran out of time to handle preorder payoffs!

Why didn't you take my money to begin with!! Your registers were practically empty at the time I first showed up!! Also, why didn't you communicate to those who preordered prior the importance of paying off preorders early in order to actually get your system during the midnight launch?

The staff members were willing to help and were friendly to customers. I bought a pre-owned Xbox controller there, as the Elite controllers were out of stock. They helped me choose the right controller, double-checking whether I wanted a pre-owned or refurbished one. They also stock a good selection of Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation games.

One inconvenience was that when I entered my email address at checkout, it wasn't just for a discount; it enrolled me in a membership that cost me a fee. I thought it was my mistake because I wasn't listening intently. However, after reading other reviews, it seems the person at the checkout tried to add the membership without noticing me properly.
