I thought I had ordered chicken katsu, not chicken skin katsu 🤯.
Don’t get me wrong, the flavor was there, but you’ll be paying $13 for such a small portion (not even gonna exaggerate it, the chicken cutlet was probably less than a cm thick). The flavor is compensating for its serving size.
Plus, they don’t check your order prior to giving it to you.
The servers were busy bickering that they didn’t check if the item was correct. I ordered my katsu bowl with a side of bulgogi beef, mind you that was an additional $6 to the $13, and it wasn’t on my bowl or on the side. I’ve worked in food services, and we always make sure that the receipt matches the item prior to giving the order to the guest.
My suggestion for future customers, maybe come back and try the food once they get proper training...
