Maurices — Local services in Milwaukie

I know this is a bit of a rant, but don't go here. Worst store ever, the person running this place needs replaced. This is the 3rd! Yes 3rd time I've had a shipment go to the store and then not be able to find or receive it . Not only do they NOT call and let me know the order has arrived, they don't EVER answer the phone so I can confirm before driving all the way there. So NOW they get to have an unpleasant interaction with a customer who's been calling for a week after finding out the order really lhas been at the store for a month. (Ordered it April 14th). I was just in there TWO weeks ago, looking for the order and made a purchase as well. Everytime I've been to this location there haven't been ANY other customers in the store so I know they aren't so busy they can't answer the phone! Between horrible customer service (or lack of) and the completely downgraded quality and design of the products, I'm done. Lesson finally learned, one time ok, twice maybe, three times in a row? Seriously poorly operated and managed, not worth the money or my time. Will never shop there again, not that the loss of a single customer matters to...

I usually shop Maurices online, and it has overall been a good experience. Recently purchased a variety of pieces and had a big order delivered to my house. I was happy with everything, as usual. There were 2 pieces I wanted to return. I decided to make the return in my local store. The first thing that I noticed about the store is all of the plus sized clothing is way in the back of the store, as if they were hiding the merchandise rather than promoting them. I was also shocked at how small the area in the back was, and there isn't much to choose from either. It bothers me that around 75 percent of the store caters to average size women, and plus size women are stuck in a small little corner behind everything else. I have spent alot of money at Maurices and consider myself a good customer and a frequent shopper. I think it's horrible to walk in there and see all the cute clothes displayed only to be ushered into the back of the store where you then find out those items do not come in your size. Very...

Absolutely AMAZING! The ladies here are so accommodating. I went in on a weekday evening and picked a bunch of stuff out. They set me up with a room and wrote my name on the cute little sign attached. I told them I had to come back after I picked my child up. Hours passed and it was almost closing time, I called and they told me they would save it for me. The next day when I arrived the gal who greeted me immediately knew my name, she led me to that same room which still had my name on the door.
