I am not the type of person to leave negative reviews of places, but this Windsor store has frustrated me so many times. I had come to try on dresses for my prom coming up, but both times I had driven nearly 2 HOURS to do so, they said their fitting rooms were closed due to “low staffing” and an hour long lunch break. I don’t remember staff catering to your every need in the fitting room, that having a few less employees makes it so you have to shut them down. And if theft were the fear, isn’t everything security tagged? If not everything, the most expensive stuff? And it’s not like I could buy a dress and return it later if I didn’t like it or if it didn’t fit, because they have a no return policy for special occasion items. The employee I talked to said there was nothing they could do about it even after I explained I lived far away. When I was there earlier in the week it was not busy at all, and they could have easily had the fitting rooms open with no problems. I just think they were too lazy and didn’t want to deal with having to put dresses back (WHICH MOST CUSTOMERS DO THEMSELVES ANYWAYS).
Honestly, if it weren’t for them having the only dress I wanted, I would never shop here again. And since they neglected their customers from doing the one thing necessary for buying a prom dress, lots of girls now have to wait weeks in hopes that the dress they wanted comes back in stock online and in stores, because I know I definitely...
Read moreThis is a not a trans friendly store! I was there on Halloween trying to get a last minute outfit and already knew it was gonna be bad for me as soon as I walked in. The two people that were there completely ignored me until I said hello, I was looking around for skirts and asked if they had a specific skirt and all she did was point towards an area and said no words (I was the ONLY person in the store) . Couldn’t help to feel like I was being watched the whole time. Once I found what I needed I went up to the counter to pay and still no words were said to me, no “did you find everything ok” etc. I then asked if they had any bunny ears and she quickly said no. I turned around to look at their accessories rack and guess what I saw…bunny ears. I was too nervous at this point and almost felt like walking out but I hadn’t been able to find a skirt anywhere so I just went ahead and tried to pay. I asked if they did Apple Pay and she shook her head no without looking at me and continued to ring me up. I stopped her and said I’d be back because I needed to get cash. She took the item I was gonna buy and placed it on the side and just stared at me. I’ve never been made to feel so worthless at a shopping store in my life. I ended up going to forever 21 and just bought a mini...
Read moreI have never left a review on anything before but what happened earlier today was absolutely absurd. My little sister was diagnosed was brain cancer last year and cannot use her right arm/hand due to the tumor. Today my mom took my sister prom dress shopping and stopped by windsor to look at dresses. My sister needed assistance trying on dresses and as my mom is helping her the manager tells my mom that she cannot help my sister despite my mom telling her my sisters situation. The manager didn’t care and proceeded to tell my mom only one person in the dressing room and walked away in a very rude manner. I understand this is policy because concerns of stealing, but my sister needed help getting dresses on and off. This made my sister very upset and embarrassed. Action needs to be taken because this is not the first time we’ve had a bad interaction with the staff, they are all very rude and not welcoming at all. This is...
