Two out of two bad experiences. They’re really just not able to get people in and out of the store very efficiently… it’s too small to let in very many people in the first place. With a short line out front you’ll still wait at least 30 minutes to an hour to get inside and have a look around. Staff is nice but they’re really just not well equipped for the volume of their Portland market. I can’t speak to availability of products, but these stores are notorious for having limited numbers of popular products, and are pretty much limited to those who want to line up for them the night before their restocks in order to secure something specific.

Don't have a store near me.Traveled three hours to go to a store spent $700 to give my daughter a gift at a party came home. She opened the boxes during her party. And there's a broken piece I contacted pop mart customer service they will not resolve the problem, I'm not driving 3 hours back to a store. They offered me 6 yuan which is $0.84in US Dollars worst customer service ever.I suggest if you're gonna spend hundreds of dollars make sure you have unbroken product before you leave! Beyond disappointed in company!

A very small store. This is the first official store in OR and it turned out to be very bad. At the soft opening you had to wait in line for over an hour to get into the store, and yesterday at the official opening we waited in line for 7 hours and got nothing. And there's a lot of people lined up behind us. You guys need better management.

When PopMart first opened I was skeptical due to the crowdedness and feeling unwelcomed into the store. Eventually I gave it a chance because it seemed like it supported the concept of “artists' work in the form of collectible toys” and I typically enjoy being able to shake and hear the blind boxes.

Normally, it is fun to be able to shake the box, or figure out the weight, or paying attention to the volume, or if it has a lot of pieces to get more hints from the box WITHOUT DAMAGING or OPENING it in hopes of getting the one you want. If they have concerns they should make a clear policy sign right in front and next to each shelf stating all the rules to how they want you to buy a box so that there is no confusion or no sudden changes based on each visit. Blind boxes are designed to be shaken, give hints, and can be a fun problem solving experience, unopened display box are guaranteed no duplicates, but PopMart at this location restocks the display box instead of letting it run out, so a bit misleading with their presentation.

My first time coming here it felt I wasn’t even allowed to shake the boxes, the staff were constantly staring, didn't seem to have anything else to do, unfriendly, and unhelpful, especially the cashier, but I made my purchase anyway. I’m sure they had a long day or many strange things happen, that can be understandable.

The second time I was able to have a somewhat more positive experience and spent time carefully picking the boxes I wanted to purchase. But again, the cashier wasn’t the most friendly. They told coldly the other customers they do not accept cash and the customers had to leave sad. This type of information should be posted clearly, there was no sign anywhere stating they only accept card. Once it was my turn to checkout I was more eager to open a membership due to the mostly positive experience I was having this visit, but the cashier wasn't willing or informative about the reasons why someone would open a new membership and potentially gave away the points to someone else. I tried to open one anyway, but I did not receive any email confirmation to open an account or that my points have been earned no matter how long I waited after the purchase. So, I contacted customer service to find out what happened to the points and account, but they too were very unfriendly and it appeared that half the responses were prewritten or automated. I continued to maintain contact with them, further explaining I was a new customer, and I wanted to know what happened to the points because it was a decent amount. They then verified that the points had been added and that they couldn’t do anything else but were unable to verify if they went to the email provided. I still do not have any points or history on my account for that purchase.

Despite this, I wanted to give them another chance since the overall experience wasn't the worst I've had and went a third time, but the experience was completely ruined. The staff treated me like I was going to steal merchandise when I was trying to pick boxes I wanted to purchase. I didn't do anything to damage the boxes. I didn’t even have a big bag just my small purse, but as soon as I nicely put back the box into the original display, they would immediately take that box and put it away into the table underneath the display and tailed me through the entire store while I was trying to look for and purchase different boxes from a different set for a friend. The cashier was nicer than the previous, but clearly had predetermined misconceptions toward me. I paid for the boxes and left feeling very unwelcomed and never wanting to ever support PopMart again.

It’s sad because I do like some of the artists' work, but seeing the company's management and treatment of their customers, they clearly just care about the profits more than anything else. I will never go there again. If you still like blind boxes definitely try elsewhere where you can get the full, fun, enjoyable experience that blind...

Honestly, I don’t know where to start with how bad the launch was handled.

The community that came super early was very nice and respectful of each other and helpful.

People lined up early, and took it upon themselves and created a organized lineup with numbers and told everyone to stay safe in their cars till it was time to line up at 6 when popmart was allowing people to line up. Security cleared this and said it was a huge help to keep everyone safe, a great idea, and told everyone it was cleared with popmart, and they would go by the number system that was created by the community.

Around 4:30~5 am police came to a call from security because a few people weren’t lining up proper (they didn’t understand the community ticket system since it wasn’t official) and started problems with the people who were there earlier. One person apparently hit a woman and a guy got upset because nobody was acting respectful and orderly. Instead of the police, popmart, and security coming together to listen to the hundreds of people who agreed on the situation with the organized tickets, the police and popmart and security had everyone stand on the sidewalk in the parking lot until it hit 6, basically ready for a 100m sprint to the door. As soon as it hit 6, they let everyone run for the door and push and shove and let people get hurt.

After that, popmart decided it was time to do a proper and organized line, but the police did not care about anyone pushing to the front to get an official ticket, and let the mob go crazy.

Online they didn’t specify how many of the new labubu they’d have in stock, but I figured they’d have at least 200 because other Malls had about that much.

My ticket was 181, so I asked a few different employees how many of the new Labubu they would have (since it wasn’t online) and was never told a number, just that they had “planned for twice as many people”. At that point in time, I heard that one of the people towards the back of the line had number 726. So it was safe for me to assume they’d have around 1400, guaranteed to have one for me. So I waited. I figured even with the line taking FOUR HOURS for me to get into the store, I assumed I’d get one, that’s what the employees told me.

I was about 40 people away from my turn to order, and they were already sold out of the new Labubu’s. But the employees didn’t tell us. The disappointed customers about 40 people before us had told us when they were leaving empty handed.

It took me and my group 4 hours to get into the store. 180 transactions in 4 hours. That’s not even 50 transactions an hour. Unbelievably slow, and they were already sold out, and not telling any of the poor souls behind me, for the next 800 people.

Yes, 800 people at least behind me, someone asked why the line was taking so long and showed an employee her number and it was in the 900’s. And the employee didn’t even tell her a lot of stuff was sold out, close to selling out, or that she’d be here until they close. Honestly with how slow it was for me, they probably won’t even be at number 500 by the time the mall closes let alone her number 900.

Allowing everyone in line to waste their entire day, to not even get close to the front of the line, and even if they did, there’s nothing to buy.

It feels like they want people to stay in line to draw attention to Clackamas mall. They want a “viral moment” to be on the news so more people get tricked into fomo.

It feels like they want people to stay in line and not know everything is sold out, so they spend 6 hours in line to get into the store and buy something they don’t want just to make them feel like it was worth their time and not a big waste.

Terribly coordinated, awful really. I don’t think I’d ever recommend this popmart, the popmart in Southcenter mall near Seattle is more worth your time even with the long drive, than going to this...

Just adding to “Ian Fielding” detailed review as they pretty much summarized how the whole circus of the grand opening went. But their closing handling was terrible too…

We went at 7:20 pm not for labubu, just wanted to check it out and grab the other IP there since we are eating close by. Waited in line for like 30 mins before the two employee signal the other one in the back to cut off the line. So safe to assume everyone else still in the line with a ticket is still good right?. Like at this point they still have V1 labubus cause we saw ppl walking out still with full set of them. Now here’s the crazy part, after a bit of waiting it was 8:09pm some random dude(who we found out later was the manager) comes to the 2nd half of the line and pointed and word for word “Hey, sorry but everyone from this point on can please leave, as we are completely out of stock of everything in the store” he wasn’t wearing a badge and his tone was bad, the other employee there looked confused too so it’s like a decision he just suddenly made to cut off the 2nd half of the line. But damn he could’ve just put the blame on the policy that the mall will close at 9pm and they won’t finish taking care of everyone before then. But dude did it with a rude attitude and blatantly lie to everyone’s face that EVERYthing is out of stock so y’all need to leave.” Like you could literally see the store and it still have filled box of every other IP displaying them. people got so mad and one family became Karen on him and after a while he changed his words. Now he says oh is because we have to go home too, y’all can come back tomorrow. He could’ve been honest because they were indeed sloth speed with every transaction that it will most likely hit 9pm before they can take care of the whole line. Even better yet as people still kinda lingering a bit because they waited so long hoping something changes. The dude then said if y’all don’t leave we will have security remove you guys. Like the mall closes at 9pm , it is barely past 8:15 at this point and we are technically not even...
