OUTSTANDING!!! That’s the only word I can think of after just walking out of the Venardos Circus show in Meridian, ID with my wife, our two kids, and my daughter’s best friend. What an experience!
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the performers themselves—yes, the same ones who would soon amaze us under the big top. That personal touch instantly made the experience feel more intimate, like we weren’t just audience members—we were part of something special.
The show itself? Enjoyable beyond words. Every act was engaging, creative, and executed with death-defying excellence. What stood out even more was the way the team wove together performance and connection. Even the young lady who scanned our tickets and the older woman who helped us find our seats showed up later in support roles during the juggling act and the “disco finale”—a brilliant and fun ending to a truly magical evening.
They also invited two kids from the crowd to join in on the fun and after the show, every single performer stuck around to take individual photos with anyone who wanted one. Every child, every family—nobody was rushed. That kind of hospitality is rare and unforgettable.
And let me say this—every seat in that tent had a great view. Absolutely NO bad spots (but VIP would have still be worth it). The video shared by the founder about the history and heart behind Venardos Circus made it clear this isn’t just a show… it’s a movement.
Personally, I’m praying for continued national and (someday) global success for this beautiful experience. My hope? That it’s still thriving 30 to 40 years from now so I can bring my (currently unborn) grandchildren to experience its wonder. Until then, I’ll return to watch in awe every year they come to town.

Read moreThe show was great! Performers were excellent! But we paid for VIP to ensure comfort. And the host took us to our seats, where we were second row —-BUT it was so tight that my knees hit the chair in front me. The man in front of me kept side eyeing me. I wanted to tell him I could not help the way the seating was aligned. The front row show have been closer to the stage so the second row wasn’t that tight. No way a Fire Marshall would have been okay with it the way it was. We had to sit at a leaned angle. It was so uncomfortable that we left during intermission. I’m annoyed that they had two large VIP sections empty, then sat us in a spot where we couldn’t fit our legs. It’s not like we surprised them when we showed up with legs! I could tell my husband was getting aggravated because we couldn’t sit in the chairs like normal people. It’s not like we are super tall or obese. The chairs were just placed poorly. And we didn’t get to stay for the rest of the show because it was killing my back. I was impressed with the show. But I didn’t pay extra to feel like I’m sitting in a cage. It was garbage. And I doubt I will ever go...
Read moreWe’ve been to many Cirque du Soleil shows, so we’re familiar with the circus format. However, when Venardos Circus arrived in our area, we didn’t have high expectations. In fact, we bought our tickets on the last day and opted for the VIP experience because everything else was sold out.
To our surprise, the experience was incredible! Every act was entertaining, and the song performances were enjoyable.
Parking was easy to find, although this might not be the case at other locations.
The only downside was the seating arrangement. Since we had a toddler, we were placed on the second row, while a family with a teenager and a child sat right in front of us. As a result, I had to keep my toddler on my lap the...
