I travel a lot and get haircuts in different places in the world but I never had such a disappointing experience as today. I booked couple of days in advance and before I walked in I called. It was 8:06, the appointment was for 8:00. I was late because it was impossible to find where they are located. This rude lady on the phone Denise wouldn’t let me in at 8:08 as she was talking about their 10 minute policy, she didn’t want to understand that it is a maze to ge to them as a first time customer, hated talking to that lady, extremely disrespectful and definitely had to do some of her business that is why didn’t take me. The management should know about such employees, not willing to go anywhere (not even do their job, - not talking here about going extra mile) amazing company culture, now I am late for my work too, as I booked early in the morning to be able to be back to work. I've been going to GENT once a month for the past year and a half that I have lived here and can't say enough great things about it. When I went to book my first appointment online, I randomly selected Lisa based on her availabilities that day and I'm so glad I did - she is fantastic. I had been going to one of those discount haircut places and have not once been satisfied with the results. Lisa took the time to hear me out and come up with a style that was way more on trend than what I had been doing for years. The hot towel and wash are incredibly relaxing and sometimes she'd even wax my eyebrows which I honestly have always needed done but never would have thought to ask for. Going beyond Lisa's technical abilities, I have really enjoyed my conversations with her while getting my haircuts -- she's incredibly funny and kind. The skyway location is incredibly convenient to run over during a lunch break - and it's an awesome relaxing highlight to the middle of a workday. I'd highly recommend seeing Lisa at GENT for...

Very inconsistent stylists here!

I got my haircut from Heidi a few times here before and she did a great job. I was in need of a haircut today before my vacation and she wasn't available, so I made an appointment with another stylist assuming that she'd be at least close to as good as Heidi. I couldn't have been more wrong. I literally haven't had a haircut this bad in my life. I asked her to keep it a bit disconnected and she didn't listen and blended it. I asked her to cut the sideburns and nape short and she gave me an uneven cut on both sides. Essentially it was a trim and she took an entire hour to do it. She seemed so timid and unconfident with the clippers the entire time, I felt embarrassed for her.

I'm really disappointed and probably won't come back despite good experiences I've had in the past. I don't recall the stylists name unfortunately, otherwise I'd absolutely recommend that no one...
