COACH Outlet — Local services in Miramar Beach

The employees in this store are very rude and racist. I went in there with my sister and my mom to get another bucket bag. (I ALREADY OWN ONE AND WENT IN THERE WITH IT) my sister wanted one like mine and so we were looking and asked for the cost with the sale. One representative asked if the bag was mine and when we were leaving I saw another representative discussing me with the cashier and pointing on my bag. As I proceeded to leave she rudely asked if I was going to pay for that OUT LOUD!!! So I said excuse me??? I came in here with my bag!!! And my mom also had her coach small cross body bag on!!! This racial profiling was very uncomfortable and disgusting!!! Even if she suspected me of doing something, there was a better way of doing that!! I didn’t get her name because I was so upset but it’s an older white lady with long white hair!!! She need to be educated on how to properly speak to customers and handle certain situations better!!! I have been shopping Coach online and in store for years. The Destin store is usually where I go for special occasion shopping for myself and also my daughter in law.

Today when I entered the store I was told to put on a mask to which I replied I’m medically exempt from wearing a mask. I was told to leave the store very rudely. I wasn’t offered an alternative way to shop which violated my rights under ADA.

From today forward you will not see me enter a coach store. I will sell all my coach brand items and I’ll be looking into a brand that treats “all” customers the same. Masking is a choice in Florida. There is no state or county mandates or laws.

It may not matter much to you that I feel this way but it matters that there many of us here in Florida who feel this way Including the Governor who refuses to bow to this policy because it’s purely political. I visited the Coach Outlet in Destin today and had the worst experience, no one greeted me as we entered and walked throughout the entire store, one older lady with long black hair and glasses and a male with white hair and a ponytail were carrying on a conversation with each other, never acknowledged us, and the had plenty of opportunity to do so. I’m highly disappointed that managers behave this way, they simply didn’t care if we made a purchase or not, it seemed more like they didn’t want us as customers.
