We were at the store from 1:30pm-2:50pm on 3.10.21. Our browsing experience was good until we went to check out. First, there was a line of people waiting to check out and two male employees were standing by chatting with just one employee at a register. It took the line increasing by several groups for them to show initiative to call for assistance at the register. Once we were at the register, we started to ring up and we told her about the 15% off coupon we had. At first glance, she said it was a coupon that she could not take. After I explained several times that it was a texted coupon off the website, she called a Manger for further assistance. My group and I felt very dismissed by the manager. The manager kept saying I either had to use the app or use it just online. I showed the coupon and she then said that even through the app it was for online only. Instead of listening to what I was trying to say, she was dismissive and walked away. My group and I decided that we did not want all of the items without the coupon, and since we drove two hours to get to the store we did decide to purchase some things. The kohl’s employee then asked us several times if we wanted to start a credit card, even though we said no thank you several times. Our experience was disappointing because we felt that we were dismissed and not acknowledged, even though we remained polite and respectful. I Got all of my items and went to go check out only one item and then he scans it and he asked if I’d like to be a member of the Kohl’s reward system and I said no and he asked if anybody has told us about it before and I said yes and I told him I’m not interested and I’d like to buy my items and go and then he continued to talk about different Kohl’s memberships or whatever and I continue to say I do not want anything. I would like to pay for my items and go after the cash for the item has been sitting on the counter since the beginning of the conversation and continues to ask if I want any memberships or give my phone number and continues to harass me for my information! Read moreI was in Kohl's Missoula location the morning of November 6th, 2024. I was looking for some items for one of my children. I was one of only 2 or 3 customers in the entire store. I found of couple of items and after a few more minutes of browsing I went to pay for my things. I came up to the check out area and a cashier named Julie was there. The first words out of her mouth to me were "You look tired and drained". I was so shocked that my appearance was being insulted that I just replied with "It is probably because of the election yesterday". To which said, "The election turned out how god wanted it to" in an extremely rude tone. Then, she had the audacity to ask if I wanted the Kohl's credit card, I said no and she came back with "Well, if you made bigger purchases it would matter, but you don't make big purchases so..."
