*Update - This restaurant has apparently changed hands since I posted my earlier review. The food was terrible, sadly. *
My wife and I have enjoyed Thai restaurants all over the US and all over the world, from Thailand to Paris. We've probably eaten at 100 Thai restaurants or more. Thai Time is well above average. It's very good. Everything always tastes very fresh. It's not my absolute favorite Thai food ever, but it's definitely in the top ten Thai places we've tried. I get their cashew chicken. It's in a light brown hearty sauce that's well balanced and not too heavy or fishy. The vegetables are always crisp and fresh. The chicken is very nice, perfectly cooked breast meat pieces. We usually get spring rolls, which are hot, crispy and fresh and the sauce for them is a tasty, traditional sweet and tangy Thai chili sauce. We've also tried their Tom Kha soups. One has chili paste and one doesn't, otherwise they're the same. I enjoyed the soup with the chili paste a little more, while my wife liked the one without better. My wife gets their garlic chicken and it's very tasty and freshly cooked, too, with breast meat pieces. They have a salad with an Asian ginger dressing akin to what you might find in a Japanese restaurant, and it's also very crisp and good. We've eaten here more than five times now and it's always consistent. This is definitely the best Thai we've...
Read moreI really hate to leave a poor review but unfortunately I don't have anything good to say about it. Called from the parking lot of the Boba shop after walking around to the door and it being taped shut. Nothing apparent saying use other door. Lady answers and tells me "You didn't see other door?" Let's see, no cars in the lot, door taped up low lights on a Friday at 645 pm? Walked in and it's empty. Greeted by the lady "You the one who called?" no welcome etc. Empty restaurant EMPTY. No staff other than her, no customers. Should've walked. "You want takeout?" like she didn't want me to sit down. Sure. Ordered it and it was done in less than 5 minutes packaged and put on the table I had barely sat down at. Got home and it was overcooked and flavorless. I've had better pad Thai out of a ramen bowl. Shrimp were tough, it takes longer to cook it properly than it took them to get it to me so I am sure it was sitting back there along with the noodles, and other ingredients. Overall I cannot recommend it, and that displeases me. I'll eat panda express 🤮 before I...
Read moreI really wanted to love this restaurant, BUT!! First of all, its very confusing finding the restaurant off of Airport Blvd. The décor inside was very nice and the young lady seating me and taking my order was very friendly and nice. I ordered Spicy Basil Leaves Stir Fry with Chicken and Tom Yom soup. Now, I have been to Thailand several times and this was a weird Tom Yom soup, it seemed to have a tomato paste flavor and not very spicy. The egg roll was very tasty though! When my food arrived, it was not at all what I ordered. The sweet young lady brought me Ginger Chicken Stir Fry. After a short discussion she took the entrée away to fix the mistake. However, when she brought the plate back, it was very apparent that the cook had just used the same food, and tried to re-flavor the sauce to what it should have been. Also, the chicken was obviously, "previously frozen", not fresh. I probably won't go back. This is...
