I've been on 3 trips with The World Within Us and they've all been so incredible! The itineraries are perfectly planned with the ideal balance between iconic sites and authentic local experiences. I particularly love the emphasis on supporting women entrepreneurs and their communities.

Egypt- My first trip with TWWU was in 2021 to Egypt. Our guide, Fatma, was fantastic! She acted as our guide, photographer, negotiator, translator, and bodyguard and excelled in each and every role. Spending time marveling at all the intricate temples and learning about Egyptian history will always stand out to me. From the bustling streets of Cairo and Giza to the crystal blue waters of the Red Sea and breathtaking marvels of Luxor, I enjoyed every second.

Tanzania- The magic of Tanzania will never leave me. Like a real life version of the Lion King but somehow so much more. Our guide, John, was so knowledgeable about every animal we encountered and could spot wildlife hundreds of feet away. There are not enough words to describe how much this trip has affected me. Our day of impact consisted of visiting three incredible organizations: Solar Sister which empowers women to provide solar lights within their community, Wine to water works to provide clean drinking water to remote areas, and Shanga who employs those with disabilities to create stunning handmade items using recycled materials. After spending several days on safari exploring Tarangire, south Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Caldera and seeing over 30 species of animals, we visited the Original Maasai Lodge. There we lived with and learned all about the Maasai people and their rich, beautiful culture. I truly could go on forever about this experience with TWWU but words will never be able to fully describe it, so you'll have to book this trip to experience it yourself.

Brazil- I also visited Brazil earlier this year with The World Within Us and it was another wonderful experience. You could tell how much thought and planning went into the luxury accommodations as they were in the perfect location. In Rio de Janeiro, we visited the quintessential sites such as Sugarloaf Mountain, Selaron Steps, and Christ the Redeemer Statue. Beyond that however, we visited Rio's Little Africa area and learned all about the history of Afro-Brazilians and how their presence has shaped today's Brazilian culture. We Samba'd the night away in Lapa and even flew to Iguazu Falls to explore these breathtaking views on both the Brazil and Argentina side. Truly a 10/10 trip that I recommend to everyone.

Our honeymoon to Tanzania and the Seychelles was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to the incredible planning and personal touches of Anina. Everything was seamless from start to finish — we didn’t have to think about a thing, not even transportation, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment.

In Tanzania, we were able to truly connect with the culture and community through her local partnerships — from learning about Maasai traditions, to visiting Mto wa Mbu and supporting our Maasai family with lights and water filtration. Our guide from Sababu Safaris, Moodie, was outstanding: knowledgeable, thoughtful, and the heart of our safari experience.

The Seychelles provided the perfect contrast, offering pure luxury and relaxation. Our hotel was stunning, the excursions breathtaking, and it was the ideal way to end our journey.

The balance of authentic cultural immersion, seamless planning, and five-star luxury made this honeymoon the trip of a lifetime. Every single detail was carefully thought-out, and Anina even added special touches for our honeymoon. She really understood our goals for travel and incorporated every aspect from the local experiences to the gorgeous lodges. I have planned group and solo trips for myself and friends for over 14 years. All the hours spent finding hotels, rental cars, airport shuttles, excursions for every trip was so exhausting. So when I say WOW, I mean it. I booked the Guatemala Latinas retreat last year and was so impressed with the ease of the trip. From my airport pickup, beautiful hotel, the excursions that were planned… EVERY LITTLE DETAIL was thought out and planned and I didn’t have to research one thing about the new place. TWWU planned a dream vacation that I would have spent days to research and plan on my own. I may be spoiled now, I just got back from Colombia yesterday traveling with this company, and already booked Peru later this year!
