Troia's Market — Local services in Monterey

Was in Monterey a few days for a wedding. Stayed along Pacific Avenue and this lil market was my go to for all those cravings and last minute needs. A lighter, beer, wine bourbon, water and an Italian meat deli sandwich. The sando hit the spot after days of chowder, seafood and steaks. An Italian meat sandwich stacked high between a fresh sourdough roll answered the craving. Toss in an Yerbamate, bag of TacoWorks and Monterey Bay view and it was a perfect SUNday FUNday. I have a thing for supporting small business and I can recommend this lil corner street market for good selection of goods. Super friendly staff...

Cool little market with free street parking. It's not the biggest store nor is it the cheapest but the market is in a good location and the store packs a lot in to a small space.

They have a great alcohol selection including wine and hard liquor, a deli counter and a fair enough selection of international foods including Asian noodles, Japanese foods and a small British section.

This is a small family operated store and...

As a market not the best. Some of the beverages are expensive. But good alcohol selection and ok prices, similar to most liquor stores. The deli though. They have the best sandwiches in town. Best quilting cheese and meats, great options on Italian meats and imported cheeses. And you can easily get a plain sandwich there for like 7 bucks....
