I visited this Aldi location today with the intention of making a quick 10-minute stop. I picked up everything I needed in under five minutes, but when I reached the checkout, I saw only one cashier operating—which, unfortunately, has become a consistent issue at this store.
There is no self-checkout option, and the line had about seven or eight people ahead of me. From prior visits, I know it typically takes about two minutes per customer, which meant I was looking at a 15-minute wait just to pay. I didn’t have the time, so after waiting two minutes and seeing no progress, I returned my items and left.
During that brief time, I noticed other customers walking by the line with visible frustration. This isn’t just a one-off—there seems to be a pattern of under-staffing and lack of attention to customer experience at this location.
Ironically, this store is located directly across from Trader Joe’s. Despite having the same parent company, the two stores couldn’t feel more different when it comes to checkout efficiency and customer service. The demographic is the same, but the outcome is drastically different.
I hope Aldi’s management takes this feedback seriously. A small change—like adding self-checkout or ensuring more than one register is open during peak times—could go a long way in improving customer satisfaction and...
Read moreI love Aldis! Their prices are amazing! A lot of ppl are afraid to shop there bc they think the quality is dollar store. I actually know for a fact that this isn't true. My sister works for them! This store is actually a German Chain- so a lot of the brands are unfamiliar to us but are actually high quality brands from Europe. I had one friend who used to live in Germany and said the chocolate they sell at Aldis is a top notch brand there! As in regards to their produce- Aldis uses local farmers and produce to promote local business. They are very fresh and constantly have new produce coming in! Aldis is able to keep their prices low by using a unique system which cuts a lot of costs but allows them to keep quality items and service without charging the customer. Things such as no traditional store shelving, plastic/paper shopping bags that will be trashed , and no manufacturers coupons all seem like small things but these cut super costs. The staff are trained to every part of the store which Allows not only well oriented and efficient service but also cuts down on the amount of staff needed. I love that Aldis also pays their staff very well and takes care of them. All in all I will continue to shop and enjoy my experiences...
Read moreOn a Sunday a very busy shopping day they were out of a lot of items. The store produce area had a rotten smell and much of the produce was over ripe. The flow of the items and merchandise was all over the place and with this being our first time at this location we didn't have a great experience and as we walked the store not able to collect and check most items odd our grocery list we were disappointed and feeling like we should have just left and went to another grocery store. However, the staff was very friendly and they worked really hard to get the long lines down. We will not return to this Aldi's location but we are frequent shoppers of the company itself. This location needs a major overhaul of the layout, fresh produce(as they guarantee) and more inventory of the major items even if it means doing away with the two aisles of items found at homegoods. Would prefer the store focused on grocery items and not bed,...
