I’m raising my 13 year old daughter by myself. Every holiday for the past 10 years I buy her a piece of diamond jewelry. This way when she gets older she’ll have a nice collection and hopefully beautiful memories to go with each piece.
I had the same sales lady (from a different jewelry store) from Christmas 2013 until Christmas 2020 when she was promoted, moved to a different location and I no longer had contact with her. I shopped around several different jewelry stores looking for a “special” piece of jewelry for each occasion? Sadly, nobody would seem to help me?
This past Christmas, 2022 I walked into the Kay’s Jeweler's in the Moorestown Mall looking to buy a piece of diamond jewelry from their “Disney Collection”.
I don’t know the name of the sales lady who helped me that day but she was Absolutely Amazing. She went out of her way to listen to what I was looking for. It wasn’t available at this location so she ordered it for me. A few days later it arrived. It by far wasn’t the most expensive piece I’ve purchased for my daughter. But, it was one of the most beautiful pieces I ever purchased for her. It was a diamond Eeyore from the Disney Collection.
This past weekend, February 4, 2023 I once again visited this location looking for something equally special for Valentines Day. I recognized the sales lady who went out of her way to help me during the Christmas season. Thankfully, she once again helped me on this visit.
I wasn’t certain what I was looking for? She and I shared a very brief conversation about what my daughter had grown into. Her interests, hobbies, likes and dislikes.
Well? The sales lady recommended another piece from the “Disney Collection”. A two tone black and white heart with both black and white diamonds. I thought it was the perfect piece of jewelry for Valentines Day.
Thankfully, I finally found someone who was willing to help me find the perfect piece of jewelry for each occasion.
I highly recommend finding that special piece of jewelry for someone you love at this location. Not only was the sales lady Absolutely Amazing, Understanding and Helpful. The entire staff at this location seems to be equally helpful and knowledgeable. It’s a very welcoming environment.
I wish I had her name to add to this post. She deserves to be acknowledged for an Outstanding Job helping a customer. More importantly she helped to make my daughter very happy and smile in a way that’ll bring tears to a parents eyes.
Thank you for a Wonderful...
Read moreWorst customer service ever. My teenage daughter ordered a ring from the store. At the time of purchase, the associate never told her she needed an ID when picking up the ring they just told her to come back in a couple days so when she came back the manager, Allyson gave my daughter an attitude because she didn’t have an id. My daughter explain she did not have an ID so the associate says she can bring in a school ID for a debit card. My daughter came back later with a debit card and asked me to come in with her because the manager was rude. When walking in the store, my daughter was ahead of me and I noticed how the manager did not greet my daughter and her a stank face. She was rude from the very beginning. The manager and another associate then called my daughter a liar saying she asked them if she can use a drivers license. My daughter doesn’t have a license so why would she ask if she could that as a form of id. They didn’t accept her debit card and after all the unnecessary attitude they said she can get a refund. I then asked for a paper receipt and the manager began to give me an attitude. I explained that is not how you talk to customers and the manager and other associate stood up like they wanted to fight. They must be so bored and hate their jobs. They continued to argue to me and my teenage daughter. I don’t know how they can speak to anyone like that. They handled the situation horribly, especially when we spoke to them respectfully. They are just miserable. I will never go to that...
Read moreWell after reading the reviews this store has a disease, terrible customer service. This always reflects directly on management. So I would recommend never shopping here. Who wants to feel like an unwelcome guest while shopping?
Your employees are scaring money away. I’m at an age where many friends are getting married. I will be telling everyone how terrible Kay Jewelers is.
Anyway:
Went up to the counter and was greeted in a friendly matter. I asked if they had a gemologist on staff and they looked at me like I had three heads then answered at a volume I could not hear. The three associates were in a group small-talking.
I pointed to my ear to clearly communicate that I couldn’t hear them then another associate said “We do not have a gemologist” in an annoyed tone.
I heard them muttering at a volume lower than they were conversing when I first approached as I walked away. Obviously talking about how rude the guy with normal hearing and valid questions was.
This is the second time I’ve had an uncomfortable experience here and the last time it was asking about Alexandrite. The employee seemed annoyed and I seemed to know more about the gem than he did.
I recommend just going to jewelers row in Philadelphia. Better deals, more informed and experienced employees. You’ll feel respected and like a valued customer.
This is the low bar for...
