
food: 8/10 service: poor A few of us had been here before and never experienced such poor service. We booked a 6:30pm reservation but arrived early for happy hour at the bar. They then tried to seat us early around 6:21pm and seemed annoyed we weren’t ready because we had to close out our tabs at the bar, which is the respectful and required thing to do. We were seated at 6:23 and were sitting until 6:45pm when I decided to get up and ask if we could have a waiter come to our table. No one had even greeted us at this point. Finally 10-15 minutes later our waitress arrived and apologized. We were expecting to still order happy hour drinks before it was over at 7:00pm. We ordered drinks and food and waited another 30 minutes before receiving just drinks due to the glasses being too hot to grab for water, so we let it go. Once the drinks finally arrived, 2 of our guests had to pour their own drinks which resulted in one drink spilling all over the table. If that doesn’t equate to poor service then I’m not sure what does. Not only did we experience that, but 3 out of 7 orders were done incorrectly. Also, it was one of our guests birthday so usually we’ve received a free dessert from the restaurant before but more recently I was told they don’t offer that here. Lastly to close, the birthday girl ordered a drink to close out the night and had been waiting for a while just to find out the waitress gave it to another table. She also mentioned she had not been there in a month as if that’s an excuse to not check in on your customers often and keep them informed or even initially just say hello. So not only did we receive poor service, but when we told the waitress we had been at the restaurant for over 3 hours longer than expected, we received no compensation or even a slight courtesy apology on behalf of the manager on duty and still paid full price and respectfully gave the waitress her full 20% tip because it’s the right thing to do and she was pretty nice. Read moreI hope it was an off night but we had a terrible experience! It was a party of eight people. 3/3 Prime rib dinners were over cooked! My husband’s filet was rare and he ordered med well. The waitress asked if I wanted to butterfly (med well) my steak but I stated “no”. It came butterflied and I asked if I could send it back. The person took it back (wasn’t the waitress serving). Then the manager came over and apologized nicely and said it would only take a few minutes. Next they brought me someone else’s meal. When i said it wasn’t correct they brought it back and then came back and said they were sorry, it was someone else’s meal and mine was coming soon. Everyone else was long finished their meal when mine finally came out (waited at least a half hour, maybe more). The steak was cooked correctly but they gave me mashed potatoes instead of the mushrooms and onion’s I had ordered! (I didn’t ask for them at this point). The manager again came over and apologized for the wait and stated he would buy a round of drinks or desserts. We thank him and i rushed my meal down. 3 people ordered dessert. The night had been one wait after another. When the bill came They only took off my dessert! One of our party complained and eventually got my dinner and the 3 Prime rib off of the bill. It was a disaster. The night was one wait after another. 6:00pm reservation and left a little after nine. No one in my party will ever go back!
Additional info: I forgot to comment that all entrees were served cold but I do want to add that our waitress was great. The errors appeared to come from the kitchen and then lack of appropriate follow through of the manager (comping the meals in question and his offer to pay for our desserts...
Read moreThis place has gone down hill if you have any standards. I been here a few times and each time worse then the last. This time when we arrived, it was dirty. There was stuff all over the floor. The table was dirty, i had to ask for it to be wiped. The Silverware was dirty too. We would have left then, but it was late and not too many options. I ordered the impossible burger with fries, which actually was pretty good. My fiancé ordered the seabass, he said it was bad. He lifted it up with his fork and it hung in the air.... enough said. Anyone who eats fish knows it is supposed to be tender and flaky and would have fell right to the plate. He told the waiter and the waiter did exchange it for the salmon, which he said was better. Nothing special but good. I ordered a vodka with club soda, but all I tasted was flat club soda. I told the waiter and he told me they do 2oz pours. I said ok but I don't taste it. He just walked away, didn't say he would remove it or anything. That was rude. His attitude was not very friendly but he was not flat out rude, except with the drink situation. At the end, when we got the check my boyfriend reiterated about the drink so we would not be charged for the drink, that I didn't drink. He did remove the drink and seabass. Also forgot to mention when we did get our food, there was little gnat type bugs flying around. Overall I wanted to like this place so bad. But I just can't it does not help that we just went to Redstone grill the week before and there food and atmosphere was excellent. I would not come back.
