I've stayed here a few times already and it's always great! The rooms aren't fancy, but they're spacious, recently updated, and clean. The service is good, sometimes it can be hard to find someone, but never for long and they are all wonderful! The location is great! Near the highway, and off a main road that's filled with stores and restaurants, but secluded enough that it's quiet at night. My favorite thing to do here is grab one of their board games, get some takeout, and sit in the lobby and have dinner and a game night. They even have a small store with drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), frozen foods, snacks, and desserts. They have good amenities too. They have a pool, gym, a pet relief area, smoking area, and a coin-operated washer and dryer on each floor, and each room has a fully stocked kitchen with basic cooking materials you need to cook a meal (except for spoons for some reason), and even a dishwasher, garbage disposal, and cleaning products for cleanup. I do have some complaints, but not many at all! 1) the pool, while big and clean, is always cold and takes time to acclimate to (apparently, from what was told, they have a heater for it but the owner thinks we want it cold so they keep it off). My son couldn't warm up at all since he's small, he was shivering the whole time. I will say there's plenty of seating and even a lift for people with disabilities to be able to get in. 2) the food they serve for breakfast is very hit and miss. Some things are really good. Like the waffles they make per person while you watch, the homefries are good, and my daughter loved the spicy shredded chorizo. But other things aren't that good. Like the eggs (dry) and the bagels (hard). But it's complimentary, so it's good enough. 3) the towels (pool and bath) are way too small. They barely cover you, but they are good quality. 4) they don't have any vending machines in the halls, if you want something you have to go to the lobby (which my next complaint will explain why this bothers me) to buy anything to eat or drink. 5) it takes a long time to get to the lobby depending on where your room is. Normally that's not a problem, but when almost everything is in the front except for the ice machines, it's daunting for people like me with disabilities (especially the ones that don't require wheelchairs yet, but have trouble walking distances like me) to get to the lobby if our room is all the way at the other end. There's only 3 floors, but they make up for it in length. There's really not much they can do about that, but it is a bit annoying. Other than those few things, it's a great place to stay and I will happily come back over and over when I'm...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel because one of our children was having a procedure at a nearby hotel and we needed the kitchen and bath to get ready for this. After initially booking online and asking for a crib, I called to verify that we had a room with a tub. We were told that we could not get a tub unless we paid more. I have had to get hotels lots of times and never was told that a tub was an extra charge. We asked if they would be nice enough to wave the additional cost of $7 and they said there was nothing they could do. So, we decided since it was so last minute to pay the extra money. This was annoying but what followed was worse. After we checked in, we received a higher numbered room. Just a heads up that the hotel is long and the check in is all the way on one side of it. So, if you have a high numbered room you will have a decent walk to your room. I checked out the tub in the room. The tube was dirty with body hair and mold on the grout. I ended up cleaning it myself since they couldn’t seem to do it right the first time. This was the primary reason we asked for the room and they couldn’t even provide a clean tub. The toilet water was constantly running and the vent in the room didn't work so the humidity from the shower just pooled in the light fixture. There was no crib in the room for our child to sleep in, so we ended up having to share the bed with him. If you stay on the highway side of the hotel be prepared to be up due to highway noises. When we went down for breakfast one of food service people started asking one of our children what his name was and why he was there. Then proceeded to touch our 3-month-old without asking. Which we did not appreciate and asked them to stop immediately, which they did. I know they were probably trying to be friendly, but you never know when a child may be immune compromised or have other valid reasons for not being touched. The room was very small for a suite. Only a couple feet on either side of the bed to move around. The hallway carpet was really dirty. You couldn’t really walk very far without seeing stains. Also, some of the wallpaper was peeling. Overall, they need to do some maintenance. We weren’t planning on using the pool, but it was closed the day we got there. The sign said it would be closed that morning. The same sign was there the next day late morning. When we checked out we were not even asked how our stay was. They probably already knew. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you have a family with small kids. I hope the additional $7 they got from us was worth this review and loss of our...
Read moreLoved the location of the Hotel. It was a bit off the main strip, and it was in a pretty quiet location. The check-in process was very quick and easy, and the staff did accommodate the request I had asked for a room with some-type of view and away from noise. It wasn't the best but it was open space, and the sound of the traffic was soothing in a a sense. The Breakfast was really good. I send kudos to the staff for the breakfast. A lot of Options for the Buffett menu. From the Drinks to the food, coffee, juice, teas, and etc. I loved that the pool and the gym was open. It was a short stay for us and we def. wanted to jump in the pool, but we had a lot jammed packed for two nights/three days, so we couldn't. But it was greatly loved from me and my boyfriend because, the location was only about 20mins from Philly and our activities. I would def. stay again. There are also a lot of shopping and food choices in the area, and I don't think it's too far from the Philly airport.
I think the cleanness of the Hotel could have been a lot better, The elevators were dirty, and had a lot of spots and stains that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The hallways def. also needs a good spot vacuum, The rooms weren't all the way up to my liking, but It is what it is. I believe some of the pictures can be updated on the website lol. The hotel def does need a huge upgrade with some of their amenities, it's kind of outdated and the furnishing is where they should start. Also the keyless check-in was going to be an option to use your phone, but it didn't work because it wasn't an option lol. If the hotel is a smoke-free facility, I def smelled some weed going through the hallways as we walked. The spring mattress was ok, but not the best I couldn't sleep great, but my boyfriend loved it, my body isn't used/adjusted to sleeping on a spring mattress so I didn't get much sleep. I don't know if there was bed selections but I think that should be for some sleepers. I am disabled so sleeping is def important with my body injuries. But I would stay here again If...
