I LOVE the way I look and feel after seeing Deandra to make my hair soft, stylish and beautiful again. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else! The only reason why I didn't give it a 5* experience is because I just don't like the new safety policy of locking the back entrance which is in the parking garage which all your clients use and walking from the back parking lot in the driveway to get to the front door of the building. One reason is because it's a secluded area and I don't feel 100% safe because there usually isn't anyone else there when I am, unlike the sidewalks in Morristown. I park in the handicapped spot so the hike to the front and back also hurts. A cold wind hit me walking down the driveway and I had to walk in the flower bed so a delivery van could get through. That would be difficult for anyone wearing heels. I know that the security of your clients and employees must be a major concern for you as well, and that's why there was a change. With so much homegrown terrorist shootings these days and the "high alert" we're currently in, I find myself worried about getting caught up in something often, similar to when I was teaching and we'd have a suspicious situation arise . I'd need to lock myself and my students in my classroom, pile student desks around mine which we'd hide behind for a couple hours, (even though my classroom could be easily accessed by climbing through the ground level windows), until the police and dogs had finished their investigation and a policeman would unlock my room and give us the, "all clear". Having a general announcement made wasn't safe because the gunman could be standing behind the Principal forcing him to make it. How to search a large school safely and quickly was a problem in all the schools that I taught in struggled with.. What I would like to see is a pretty, arched canopy over the back entrance with perhaps a potted shrub on either side and small outdoor rug, welcoming the client in with your name etched on the locked back door giving one a sense of safety and assurance that you were in good hands, about to have a wonderful, pampered experience extended into the outdoor entrance, instead of a dark, lonely parking garage. There would be a light and an intercom like schools have at their front door with a security camera where one would announce their name for the receptionist to check to see that they were a client with an appointment and then get buzzed in. A small, classy sign telling the client to press the button, announce their name and get buzzed in would complete the back entrance. Perhaps even a string of lights draped around the canopy would enhance the look. I would absolutely LOVE arriving for my appointment that way as opposed to hiking down a cold, windy driveway blowing the hair style I just had completed all over the place, back and forth from my appointment to a lonely, dark parking garage. Your business provides your clients with an experience of looking forward to being professionally pampered while there and leaving looking and feeling satisfied and beautiful upon leaving, like an exceptionally good restaurant where you look forward to a wonderful meal experience. I think that providing a safe, professional and appealing entrance in the back where most clients begin and complete their salon experience with you be much appreciated with...
Read moreThis place is an incredible hair, skin, body care oasis! I’m so happy I found this place. The space is beautiful and relaxing, the staff is friendly and caring, from the moment you step in they really take care of you. They are really into clean beauty and the owner Elyse is constantly adding products and services to not only beautify but nourish and nurture clients with quality products that aren’t full of harmful chemicals.
Coming off of breast cancer treatment, I’m really careful about the products I use on my skin and hair. I get my hair cut here with Elyse and she is wonderful! I recently booked an oncology facial with Harini. Harini is so knowledgeable about skin care and about oncology skin care needs. I booked a free facial consultation where we talked about my skin, cancer treatment history and the effects on my skin, what my skin care goals are, and she recommended the oncology facial and follow up facials where we would get to work on more areas of my skin every time. For the facial, she creates a peaceful and relaxing space and the Oasis products she used on my skin felt so good. My skin looked incredible, deeply moisturized, dewy, plump, just from one session. I can’t wait to book my next facial and continue to see my skin improve and rejuvenate. I cannot recommend this salon...
Read moreUpdate: This was my second time, and I thought I liked the hairstylist. I picked the same person that charges $115. With tips, my service came close to $150. However—this time around, I’m very very unhappy with my haircut. It is cut a lot shorter than I asked for. I even showed a picture thinking that she would get it. It looks awful, especially as time goes on. At one point, the stylist next to me who was cutting another person’s similar hair (same ethnic background), called out to the one that was working on my hair to point out how much of both of our hair was all over the floor, and they were laughing. I don’t know what was so interesting about seeing a bunch of my hair all over the floor. Even the person sweeping the floor was made aware of how much of my hair was all over the floor! My hair was not even some Guinness book of world records long to begin with. It is thick but fell mid back. The whole thing just felt odd to me. I didn’t want to create a scene, and just thanked her, and paid what I would usually pay, and left. Anyway, so now, a week or so later, my haircut just looks like it’s been done by someone who is still learning. I have no option but to wait for my hair to grow back. Not coming back here. Wish I had stuck to mature stylists at Bangz...
