A friend of mine went in yesterday to buy something. They bought about 5 of the same item and there were no issues. Today she went in to get something for me and herself and was told she could only purchase one. My friend called the store before going asking if there were purchase limits or a one per person rule and was told there was not. She wouldn’t have went if there was. But once she got up to the register ready to pay the OWNER of the store was extremely rude and said there were rules and limits despite there being 0 signs in the store saying so. My friend literally called before going in asking about this exact thing and was assured there were no limits to purchasing duplicates. The owner was talking about my friend to another customer despite it being the stores fault. Super unprofessional to be talking bad about a patron while they’re still shopping and in earshot when they called before coming to ask if this was going to be a problem and they were told no.

Today she went in to get two squishmallows and the owner of the store and manager had a horrendous attitude and tried yelling at her in front of other customers saying that she couldn’t purchase duplicates despite there being 0 signs in the store saying this rule and being told over the phone prior to coming in that this rule didn’t exist.
Do not shop here. Customer service is horrible. Management and ownership is frighteningly bad. This is supposed to be a childrens store. I would never allow my children inside this building and i will be making sure no one i know ever shops here. Please go to literally any other...
Read moreWe have shopped here many times in the past and have had good experiences. Today, however, the staff at the register was incredibly rude and inappropriate. My son purchased a package of three small stress balls where you can squeeze one of the balls while it is in the package. Just after purchasing it, but before he walked more than 5 feel from the register, or even opened the package, he noticed that one of the balls had a small mark on it that looked like a pen mark. He immediately showed the woman at the register and asked if he could exchange it for another one (not try to return it). The woman gave him a hard time and then told him to bring a new one up to make sure he wasn't going to try to take something more expensive. When he brought the new package to her she then denied that they was a mark on the original stress ball and said that they are exactly the same so he could not exchange it. I then went to the counter to show her the mark and ask if she would just exchange it. She then went on about how children are always playing with the toys and then putting them back and that she didn't think it was right that she should have to exchange it. She finally exchanged the package for the new one but then told my son that he was never to come back to the store. I am not sure if she is the owner or an employee but the behavior was completely uncalled for and inappropriate for someone who has face to face interaction with customers. Any store that is combative with respect to a dissatisfied customer, and/or forsakes their $ - is doomed (Let alone does both). Fyi not one of those unvaccinated children you referenced, or pretend to be protecting, had to wear a mask in school during this past week - A policy that continues. Despite this, there were a mere 138 positive tests on the day you chose to implement and enforce this policy.
