The food is really fantastic. But management lacks even a basic understanding of customer service and accountability. I ordered for delivery (USING THE VERY WEBSITE LINKED TO THEIR OWN GOOGLE LISTING). When the delivery time passed, I called and they were unhelpful, defensive, and deflected all responsibility for not knowing what happened with my food. When I found that my food was “delivered” by dropping it on a walkway in a public parking lot, they were even more unhelpful, defensive, and deflective. Their website is hosted by Square (but in a way that is not clear at all), so it forces you to order from Square, and then when Square screws up, the business acts as if they have no responsibility whatsoever. They offered no resolution and just kept arguing with me on the phone, making one excuse after the next, including that they are a “small business.” I’ve ordered food and done business with plenty of other small businesses that actually know how to treat a customer when something goes wrong. It’s a shame because, again, the food is terrific. It’s the easy part — treating customers the right way and taking accountability to resolve an issue — where they are seriously lacking. It was like dealing with a child.

Reply to response:

Please stop referring to it as a “third party” while you simultaneously adopt their website as your own on your business’s Google listing. You cannot have it both ways.

There were no solutions offered on the call. Just deflection.

After the way you addressed the situation, the irony of YOU complaining about the way YOU were spoken to is nothing short of...

Baklava Cafe is hands down one of the best breakfast spots in Morristown, offering a truly unique Turkish-Mediterranean experience in town. The menu is full of hearty yet healthy options, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that make every dish stand out.

The Turkish tea is always served fresh and hot, and for coffee lovers, the traditional Turkish coffee is a must-try-rich, bold, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Families will especially appreciate how welcoming the cafe is to kids.

The interior has a cozy charm, with green leather chairs that instantly transport you to the Bosphorus in Istanbul. Street parking is available nearby, making it easy to stop in for a relaxing breakfast or brunch.

Whether you’re craving a comforting meal, a taste of authentic Turkish hospitality, or just a great place to start your day, Baklava Café is a gem worth visiting again and again.

When we arrived four old lady were playing a kind of board game. It is aGreat place to spend quality time with your...

My best friend is moving to Morristown next month and she invited me out to Jersey for the day to visit and see her new town. We enjoyed a great walk around downtown and planned to include a stop at Baklava for tea. Great idea! Nice little café with solid service, really good tea (we had several during our time there!), and baked goods. My friend enjoyed baklava with her tea - said it was wonderful and delicious. I’m vegan so opted to try a completely surprising dish of Turkish styled butternut squash. Amazing! Loved every bite. You must drizzle the tahini on it too. So good. I’d highly recommend it to anyone; my friend tried it and loved it too. So I do recommend this café; it has a warm friendly vibe, with good food/drink and service to match. I’ll definitely come back every time I visit my friend in Morristown!
