Great trail for biking. We walked the trail but kept eyes and ears open to stay out of the way of bikes. Excellent location, nicely maintained trails, some small elevation change, walk Bridges over some areas, and two separate trails. Easy to get three or four miles in here, walking mostly in the shade, and with something more interesting than a paved Greenway. It does indicate that the trail is for RTP employees and guests, so it may not be exactly public. Might check the policies...
Read moreA friend showed me this network of trails recently. I liked that the trail is not super "scraggly" as in many of our other local trails. I believe that the conditions of this trail are comparable to those of Williamson and the now extinct Crabtree. The trails connect with a couple more informal networks that can be more technical and less well maintained; so one can stay on this trail for a smooth "cross-country" type of ride, or use them to link to more...

If you take the trail system to the first road crossing, and turn left on the actual road, keep straight on the rodeo, you’ll see some keep tracks leading up into a smashed fence. Up there is some Whistler-type jumps/berms/drops, that has at least 100 miles of hidden trail up there. Don’t let too many people...
