Nautical Bowls Cary Parkside — Restaurant in Cary

Love this place! I stop here ~3x/week for a bowl. These are a full meal, chock full of fresh, healthy ingredients, and tastes like a yummy sorbet treat. I would have rated 5 stars except this location is seemingly very new and has a few growing pains. First, the online ordering system doesn't seem to work. I used their app to order & pay but when I arrived they had no record of my order. I showed her my emailed receipt & app confirmation and she saw I had the location/date/time/all info correct. Makes me wonder if the staff are getting the tips I'm leaving at check-out? Second, they offer free wifi but the password has never worked. I've informed them of this 3 times over the last 3 weeks and each time they have said, "Thank you. I'll look into it" but they have yet to change or correct the issue. Lastly, the staff, while very friendly, are a mixed bag of very young & inexperienced "I don't really know how anything works," and more seasoned, helpful employees. They have a rewards program but after the owner/manager signed me up I don't think I've had an employee ask for an account number or even if I had or wanted one. Twice I flustered the cashier when I asked them if I could give them my loyalty account number - from the face they made I surmised it proved problematic. I've been in when there were 5 people behind the counter and when there was only 1 (I always visit weekdays at roughly the same time of day). I am posting this review because I was very frustrated with the owner who was very, very rude and unprofessional while I was there. The young lady who waited on me was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable of the product. I parked at the same time another customer parked (side by side). He got out and went into the business first. As he was ordering, I walked in the door. After taking his order, the young lady took mine. I had a couple of questions because this was my first time there. She explained and then proceeded to make the other customer's bowl. The owner came out while she was making the bowl and told the worker--"While you are standing here doing nothing you could have cleaned up this and why do you have him waiting? The owner continued to be loud and low rated her in the presence of everyone in the building. He then went to the customer who walked in just before me and apologize for his wait as well as to give him a gift card for next time because of his wait. That customer and I had not been there for ten minutes. The worker was in tears. She provided excellent service. I personally will NEVER buy anything else from this owner again --not even a breath of air! His actions were totally unnecessary! I encourage anyone wanting a bowl to visit Playa Bowls on...
