Shirt Shop — Local services in Morro Bay

My wife tried to buy a hat and a sticker from them. The people running the register didn't seem to know what they were doing. She tried to pay cash, but they said a card would be easier. Whatever, so she used her card. They charged the card, but told her it didn't go through. They then proceeded to try to charge it again multiple times. After what felt like an eternity, she finally gave up and just left.

After lunch, I checked our bank account. The charge had gone through. So, I went back to try to get the items we had apparently paid for. Although I showed them the charge on my bank app, they didn't know how to verify it on their end. So, they refused to give me what we had paid for. Sounds kind of like robbery to me. They even had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to pay a second time for the items. Umm, no thanks.

Anyway, I gave them my phone number (the guy wanted to write my credit card number on his sticky note, too!), and now I'm waiting for some guy named Don to call me and fix their mistake. They have until tomorrow before I refer it to the fraud department of my bank. Terrible experience. 0/10. Do...

We did not see the no food and drink signs and my husband brought in an empty metal cup. We were told as the woman walked past us and not to put faces, her back turned to us the whole time, to put it at the front but my husband held onto it just to not forget it and my husband even indicated it was empty. The woman then proceeded to loudly talk about us with another worker as we were also the only ones in the store. She said “they can probably hear me talking about them” and said it was rude and she didn’t like rude people.
