Rowan Chase Studio — Attraction in Morro Bay

Rowan hates his job! My goodness, we visited this gallery which was full of nice things, including Rowan Chases signature pieces. He was incredible negative and constantly complained about his job, the weather… I’m not kidding you! My husband is an artist too and asked Rowan what inspires him… Rowan says,” Money” He needs to retire. My kids were with me visiting from overseas and wanted to go in because they had visited a year before and bought one of his small paintings. They introduced themselves and were so genuinely happy to meet him, but after our very unfriendly visit with him we quickly left and my daughter said to me, there is a saying “ never meet your heroes!” That was perfectly expressed . They had been enamored by his work, but after meeting him it but a damper on his piece of art. Very disappointed that the owner of this gallery would present himself like that to potential customers, and past costumers. Time to hang up...

Went in the store to purchase a piece I have had my eye on. The door was open so we walked in the person running the shop in a rude tone said didn't you see the sign "masks required" it was a little sign hand written small in the open door .
