Great place for a sunset. It was walking distance from our hotel and beautiful at sunset. There are boats in the background and the large rock makes it look so different from other places.

Nice walk in Morro bay and you could easy pass to the rock. You have nice view over the harbour and lots of restaurants. There’s a lot to see like arts and sea otters. Love this place.

Anchor Memorial Park is a very small patch of green, a couple of picnic tables, a small pier, and a big memorial anchor. It is a memorial to the fisherman lost at sea from Morro Bay. It is thought provoking and emotional especially if you know people in the industry. The park has a fantastic view of Morro Rock and of the Morro Bay Power Plant. It is a place of serene contemplation for most anyone! Stop. Think. Smile, Shed a tear, and Reflect, it will do...
