We decided to stay at the Anderson Inn based on the pictures we saw of the room and its location. Safe to say, I was blown away by my stay. The room was so incredibly nice, and the staff were even nicer. While this is not the cheapest room in Morro Bay, the value of this room is amazing. Even if you don't stay in their best room, you get a great view of the rock. In addition to the view, the amenities provided went beyond my expectations. As soon as we checked in, the front desk worker informed us that nothing in the room would be an added cost, and we could use anything found without concern. This included a Nespresso machine with included pods, sugar, and creamer. They also had quality glassware (mugs and wine glasses) that were cool to the touch even with hot coffee. To go with the view, we had a high quality pair of binoculars to get a better look at the sights. For times when I just wanted to relax, I was able to utilize the DirecTV offered in the room. The staff who assisted us as various points were just as great as the rest of the stay. They were incredibly friendly at check in and informed me of everything I might need to know for my stay, including after-hours rules. While I can go on and on, I'll end with the great location of this room. I don't think you could do better, honestly. Morro Bay is already very walkable, but this room really feels smack dab in the middle of anything we wanted to visit while still being right on the shore. I can't wait until my next trip to Morro Bay so I can stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Anderson Inn in Morro Bay, and it exceeded all expectations. The rooms were not only impeccably clean but also boasted a modern and inviting ambiance. The bathroom was a standout feature, featuring a generously sized walk-in shower with three shower heads – a luxurious touch that added to the overall comfort. The attention to detail extended to the complimentary set of incredibly soft robes, each adorned with the hotel's embroidered name. The bed was a haven of comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The room's nautical theme, from a captivating sandalwood octopus sculpture to a pair of binoculars perfectly positioned near the great balcony, created an atmosphere of coastal charm. The exceptional service at the Anderson Inn further elevated the experience. Upon our late arrival at 8 pm, the front desk attendant warmly greeted us, assisted with our luggage, and personally escorted us to our room on the 2nd story. Her genuine hospitality continued as she took the time to help us settle in, providing valuable information about both the hotel and the enchanting Morro Bay. In every aspect, the Anderson Inn stands out as a true gem. My wife and I feel fortunate to have discovered this diamond of a hotel, thanks to its wonderful staff and the delightful amenities. A heartfelt thank you to the Anderson Inn for making our stay in Morro Bay truly memorable.

Fourth place we have stayed at in Morro Bay and this is the nicest hotel so far. Beautiful clean rooms with nice amenities, and a wonderful balcony facing the bay (Captain' Room). Comfy bed, decent size TV, Nespresso machine, glass door fridge, and microwave. Two separate sinks and separate shower and tub in bathroom. Gas fireplace kept the room toasty but also has a split AC/Heater in the room. Four covered spaces with three chargers for those with EVs. There is an elevator so no problems getting bags to room. Right on top of the Galley which made it convenient. Close to center of town so can't beat the location. About two minutes from Giovanni's Staff is super friendly and helpful. When asked, they provide a LG specific remote so I changed the input in the TVs. Was able to cast from my phone to the TV without issue. Free wifi but my TMobile signal was pretty decent. One minor thing which hopefully they can improve on is there are no charging ports or outlets on the night stand which we found at most places we stay at during the year. I mentioned this while checking out and the friendly young man at the front desk who acknowledged the issue and they will try to address it. Just got word from Connor that he took care of this and ports were installed. One day after I talked to him about it. How awesome is that. Will definitely come back the next time we come to MB.

Wow what an awesome place to stay! The views on the balcony are insane, which is why you come to Morro, right? For the views! Waking up to a view of Morro Rock right outside your window is epic. Plus our room faced the rock + sunset - what a combo! Wish I had taken a picture of the sunset.

The manager is so kind & friendly & welcoming, truly going above & beyond to accommodate & make your stay worth while. Great service!

Man, our room was so nice. We had stayed previously in a Pismo hotel, which we also loved, but the Anderson Inn felt like an upgrade. It’s small & cozy, which makes it feel like you get top of the line care. When you come in, there are little chocolates & waters, and there’s a fun towel whale on the bed, a nice personal touch & very welcoming.

Shower is really quality, everything is super nice, robes are so soft, soap & shampoo smells great & is easy to use with the dispensers right there. I always bring my own soap & shampoo but I didn’t need to pull it out this time bc they provided the good stuff.

The king size bed is so soft & comfy. Slept like a baby. The AC gets the job done & is easy to control. The TV had lots of channel options, better than the last place we stayed.

Parking is right below the room for us, and we had no trouble getting a good spot even though we showed up late at night. The elevator is right there & helped us get our luggage up to the room. Easy peasy

Great place to stay! Great location, right in the middle of all the action. Beautiful rooms, beautiful views. 11/10 would recommend and will be...

A hidden gem with five-star service and unbeatable views! We stayed at the Anderson Inn in Morro Bay to celebrate our anniversary, and it was one of the best hospitality experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was top-notch. We were warmly greeted by the sweetest person at the front desk, who immediately congratulated us and offered a complimentary bottle of wine delivered to our room at a time of our choosing—such a personal and thoughtful touch.

The staff at the Anderson Inn are truly exceptional genuine, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is memorable and relaxing. You can tell they take great pride in making each guest feel special.

The rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with breathtaking corner or panoramic ocean views, a cozy fireplace, and even a cappuccino/espresso machine. Each room has a private deck where you can sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the bay—absolutely magical.

The inn is located right on the boardwalk, steps away from charming shops, wine bars, and restaurants. And the five-star restaurant downstairs is an added bonus, elegant, delicious, and highly rated.

This boutique hotel is our go-to spot at least once a year, and it never disappoints. The warmth of the staff, the comfort of the rooms, and the unbeatable location make the Anderson Inn an absolute treasure. We’re so lucky to have...
