I see a lot of amazing reviews but I recently had a terrible experience here!!

I was standing in line holding two items under $3 when a young male employee asked I give him my purchases while I wait. I was confused as the couple standing in front AND behind me were never asked this of them.

I asked if he was concerned I was going to steal them, his response was “you can leave if you have a problem”. I instantly decided to head to Safeway for the items I needed instead of sharing my hard earned money with this company.

I’m sure it doesn’t happen a lot but if you’re a minority, or heavily tattooed maybe go to Safeway. It seems they pick and choose who they believe will steal and it was terribly...
