I donât usually commit to negative reviews⌠but this store had customer service in the negatives, so I thought I would be consistent with their style and approach. First observation when walking in: the store disregards the elderly in a non customer service way. The manager I think name starts with A , didnât mind the lack of customer service as well. Particularly, their own customers that purchase phones from THEIR STORE. Maybe it should be assumed that there wasnât a manager on this night, butâŚ. Aside from my experience⌠which was rough to say the leastâŚ. I see all of the positive reviews and that is so nice to read! Iâm happy that at least some people got to experience the positive attitude of the place until it got multiple members on the team that clearly display a negative 100% customer service. There was a nice guy with long hair who was very helpful and sitting off to a corner with a lady. As for everyone else, it was rough. While in there, two disgruntled customers were given a stand-offish attitude and about as opposite of customer service as I have ever seen. I saw an older gentleman confused wanting to set up his two newly purchased phones. He was very unpleasantly shot down and was told he needed an appointment and they were understaffed. While he was getting shot down FOR BUYING THEIR PRODUCT, there were four total customer service team members behind the plastic not really doing much. And two in front. Not counting the guy with the long hair who was helping a lady. Because he was very nice! Oh, sorry: one alleged manager. Although she didnât behave like one while she listed that she was understaffed and other reasons for her being completely unhelpful. Seems like when sheâs on it is a bit disastrous. It was a really rough site. I am hoping anytime these employees go to a place that requires customer service they experience much better customer service that can possibly teach them about being an empathetic employee. I am going to assume I will get a response that about something that they have protocols, I can tell you, since last visit, those protocols have changed. So whatever protocols they are about to list, they can flip flop tomorrowâŚ. Thank you for enlightening me on how bad customer...
Read moreI came to this location after having some cellular connectivity issues with my iPhone 7 after transferring my SIM card from my iPhone 5. I was helped quickly and was told that iPhone 7â are known to have connection issues but that my problem may be fixed with a new SIM card. The employee brought me a new SIM card and within seconds my phone went from having some connection issues to being a brick. At this point I was told that my once working phone could be traded in for $300 to get half off another iPhone 7 originally priced at $600. I calmly explained that my phone had been working just moments ago and asked if maybe returning my original SIM card may help. I was then told that wouldnât matter but that they would implant another new SIM card to see if that would help. At this point a second employee came over to show me a google search of âiPhone 7 antenna problemsâ to show that the employees werenât trying to fool me. The second SIM card was no help and my phone was still a useless brick. At this point the employees said I could either trade in my phone and buy a new one, trade in my phone for store credit and leave with no phone, or go to the apple store for help. I chose to leave at this point. I took my bricked phone to a non corporate verizon store in the next town over and an employee there had my phone working 100% within 5 seconds.
Now I donât like to assume that the employees helping me had malicious intentions, perhaps they were just completely incompetent or poorly trained. I can say with 100% certainty that I entered that store with a working phone, and left with a broken phone being told That my only option to have a working phone that day was to spend $300 on a new iPhone 7 (which was bad advise and possibly a complete scam.) I will never be returning to this location and will be informing Verizon corporate that their employees at this location are attempting to purposefully brick customers phones to trick them into upgrading to new phones when they donât have to. The service I experienced at this location was either incompetent...
