If I could give 0 stars I would and I haven't been seen yet. I've waited 3 months to see a doctor here only to be called repeatedly the day of my appointment to come in early due to the total eclipse that's happening today on 8/21/2017. The receptionist was rude and wouldn't allow me to talk. She keep talking about how the traffic was going to be. She not only talked over me but hung up on me when I was trying to talk. I knew how today would be & told here that I would leave early. Mind you I live 2 hours out. My appointment was at 4:00pm she wanted me there at 12 which I couldn't do but I was leaving at that time because of the eclipse. I’ve been in pain for days and went to MUSC East Cooper for follow-up and was prescribed medication. I was told that the medication would be immediately sent to the pharmacy. After 4 calls to the doctors office and 24 hours, the pharmacy has still not received the prescription. I’m incredibly disappointed in a doctors office that comes so highly recommended. I'm a HUGE fan of MUSC bc of their care & bc they gave me the answer 2 my ailments I'd been searching for 4 2+ yrs (even if it wasn't great news, it was an answer!) As 4 the Mt. Pleasant office over going 2 Rutledge (I live n Myrtle Beach & traffic is VERY UNPREDICTABLE as is my life) so this is DEF more convenient 4 me, but 4 me it's about the Dr's & getting the MOST outta my appt not the convenience.
