Finally got to try this place out, just to be disappointed. When we walked in, there was a couple at the counter waiting and then our group of 5. It appeared that there was only one guy running the whole place, so we we understood and waited, but finally a guy who obviously knew the guy working, informed him that he had customers, to which he replied that he didn't care. Literally said he didn't care. Then, after he took our money and got our shoe sizes and gave us our shoes, he told us to go on one of the lanes then yelled for us to go on the next instead,.like we had messed up instead of him. Then during our game, he barked at us to move bc he was putting another group right beside us and we were in one of their chairs, because there were five of us and we didn't want to scrunch up. Was hot, no air I'm guessing bc they had lots of fans blowing everywhere and the balls were terribly scratched up and chipped up and none of the finger holes seemed right to me. Wasted money in here and don't think I could be convinced to go here again. I think I'll go to blairsville or...
Read moreI recently visited Fannin Lanes with a group of friends and I have to say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The facility itself was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of lanes to choose from and all of the equipment we needed readily available.
One of the things that really stood out to me about Fannin Lanes was the atmosphere. It was a really fun and lively place, but not at all overwhelming or intimidating. Whether you're a seasoned bowler or a complete beginner, you'll feel right at home here. Plus, there's plenty of space to relax and socialize between games, with a great selection of food and drinks available.
Overall, I would highly recommend Fannin Lanes to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable bowling experience. The staff is wonderful, the facility is top-notch, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. I can't wait to come back and...
Read moreLooks like a nice place to bowl. Although my family of 6 wouldn’t know. The issue was we where from out of town and showed up on a Monday evening. Unknowing we would be turned away bc all lanes would be taken by bowling leagues within the next 30 minutes. The man was nice but didn’t overcome the fact of us driving from Ellijay to bowl. Maybe a calendar of events would be of necessity on the webpage? So the lesson we learned here is first come first serve doesn’t apply.. no matter how cute my kiddos are. Lol Leagues override all on Monday evenings...
