A nice, clean coin laundromat in downtown Blue Ridge. Includes HE machines up to 80 lbs ($6.75 for 60 lb. machine/$3.50 for standard size). Even has a clean working bathroom. Also includes a television, magazines, WiFi, snack machine ($1 sodas and snacks), soap dispenser ($1.25), ATM ($3 processing fee), coin machine (bill changer) folding tables and carts. Everything takes quarters, not the reloadable 'credit' cards.
There is a laundry drop off service available Monday-Friday from 7:30-3:30 but, of course, no pricing is listed. We're left to presume that it must be so expensive that they don't dare advertise it!
For some odd reason, the owners have chosen to keep their business a secret from the world by leaving it off of Google maps. Looks like they're members of the local chamber of commerce. I'm guessing they would be the ones charged with putting their members on the map.
Considering how inconvenient it is when your washer freezes up in winter, it would've been nice to know this place was here. The one and only laundromat in nearby McCaysville is completely out of order. I only found this place by accident, a week after I needed it, while passing through town.
It's quite irritating to have to drive well out of your way to businesses or services that exist right around the corner yet remain hidden from the world because they can't be bothered to simply list their businesses in the one place everyone goes to find such services...
Read moreFor a place to do laundry, I give it 5 * stars. While doing laundry you can watch some T.V., enjoy some snacks and wi-fi is provided free of charge. Though I did drop off my laundry yesterday, haven't picked it up yet, but I'll pick it up around 7:30 a.m. today. And so you know, this is a 10 pound drop off minimum. Another words if you drop off 7 pounds of cloths, U will be charged for 10 pounds, even though it isn't posted, nor explained to you when you do drip it off. It's a surprise when one goes to pick your cloths up. But I'm cool with that😄☺. The young ladies employed at this establishment are very helpful, and the 2 I spoke with are very pretty with beautiful smiles.😀😍😘😀. Yes, this is one place I recommend.

Read moreI've been using this laundromat for over a year and for the last few months it is getting pricier and the machines are not up to par. You spend more because most of the dryers do not get hot. My most recent visit, I reported a couple broken dryers to the management on site and requested that they put up a sign so noone else loses quarters...this was never done. I was told I would get my lost coins back...this was never done. When you walk in expect to see atleast 10 "out of order" signs. The larget washer and driers are used up bu the facility staff. It seems like noone cares and they just aim to steal your money. Not worth it. Was so nice a year ago...I don't know what happened but please take care of your machines and...
