LOVE LOVE LOVE FARMERS MARKET! And a great place to walk your dogs or go jogging. But Green Jar Juice Co was making these great drinks I thought were so healthy. The green kale spinace and mango smoothies. I felll in love at first. I thought they were all natural and organic like they say. But it's all from concentrate fake juice. I even saw bottle after bottle of the Wal-Mart brands langers juice they use in these smoothies. I was stunned. People are paying allot of money for something they think is so healthy and is just full of sugar. It's nothing it says it is. I can't believe what a fraud... wow. I wasted money here. Allot. What about all these people that could have real health problems if they were to drink so much sugar for example. Omg just cause it's the color green doesn't make it healthy. The 2nd Time I ordered one. A TIE die smoothie.. half mango and half green tie die smoothie it was all watery and barely icy. All melted after my 3rd sip. Crazy. Make them at home. In the mango sunrise they squirt like this v red sugary strawberry syrup into the drink to make it look cool. Wow. I'm so shocked.. then again not really.. I'm sure that's how the majority of these...
Read moreThis is a very nice farmers market. It has plenty of vendors, all with wonderful attendants. We received free samples from the "Keeper of the B Honey" booth and we decided to buy some of their Sage Honey. It's wonderful! I always get a haul from Salsa Del Diablo, my favorite is "A Lime Walked Into a Pepper". We also got some Honey cookies from Petra's baked goods. They are honestly to die for! I will be back to try more of Petra's goods. I would say that this market seems to have a lot of the same vendors as the Pioneer Park farmers market, BUT the walkways were not near as busy. It was much easier to enjoy myself when I wasn't weaving in between crowds. There is parking available, but you may want to be there earlier in the day for a reasonable spot. We did end up parking down the street and walking...
Read moreGreat Sunday Farmer's and Craft Market that runs throughout the summer months in the SLC area. We love to go pick up seasonal fruits and veggies and some sausages for grilling during the week. Sometimes the baked goods smell so wonderful that we can't pass them up, but we try to go with the fresh produce that we don't have in our own garden. There are also food trucks, craft tents, and more, and lots of people go with their whole family and dogs in tow and make a picnic day of it. It can be a social event or a quick shopping trip. Either way it is helpful if you bring your own reusable bags and keep a cooler with ice in your car if you plan to buy meat and stay a while. Lots of people bring their kids and dogs to the market. There is water and there are open spaces...
