Oceans Beachwear — Local services in Nags Head

Me and my sister were on vacation in the area and were shopping around for souvenirs and found some bathing suits in this store to try on. We weren’t aware that we weren’t allowed to go in the dressing rooms without permission, as the first one we opened was already unlocked. One of the managers was an older man, he came up and knocked on the door asking us if we were done rudely and then kept talking to other customers while we were in the dressing room, telling them we went in there without permission, and then proceeded to linger around the dressing room while we finished up. (Mind you we had not talked to anyone previously because the bathing suits were directly in front of the dressing rooms) Took our unwanted bathing suits, followed us up to the counter and watched us check out. After we were done, he looked at his cashier and said, “They have no right to be upset.” Will not be returning to this store when we come back to vacation here for sure. It is sad because this store had the best prices so far. I almost didn’t buy the two things that I did because of the disrespect of what looked like was from the manager. Everything you'd expect or want from a beach store. My cousins bought a hermit crab here and it's still very healthy, they had plenty of neat extra shells to choose from for it. We all got Outer Banks/OBX t-shirts and hoodies here instead of anywhere else because of the vast selection. I got some swimwear, which they also had a large selection of. I noticed a lot of options for sandals. They have kites, bracelets, souvenirs, boogie boards, inflatables, and beach accessories of all kinds. In the back they had a case of "tobacco" pipes and accessories, as well as another case of knives. These were out of the way though so children wouldn't be likely to see them and were kept in locked glass cases for safety. The staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions. Worst place in Nags Head. Tried to return an umbrella that was AWFUL after using it one time and they first told us that we could only return for store credit only to change their mind within 2 minutes and tell us that there was no way they would let us return it. Argued with the woman at the register for 5 minutes who was EXTREMELY rude. Zero customer service. I understand that there are people who would buy something to just use it on vacation and return it but we had bought it THAT day....
