My wife and I have been with US Cellular for many years. We have always been very satisfied with the service in Nags Head. We went in the store on Thursday December 1st to get better coverage since we were only getting 1-2 bars in Manteo. We had been in the store on Tuesday and the young lady working in the store changed our SIM cards to help us get better service. This did not make a difference. We came back on Thursday and Ryan waited on us. He suggested we upgrade our phones. We both got new iPhone 14 units. We are very satisfied with the phones. We were also sold clear phone cases and chargers. We are not happy with the cases. We carried them back on Saturday. They would not take them back because we did not have the boxes they came in. Ryan conveniently threw these away immediately when he installed them on the phones. This is a lot of money for 2 retirees on a fixed income. We were charged around $50 each which is ridiculous for a case. We also received a text on Friday that we had referred ourself to the store. I did not suggest anyone for a referral when he brought out his clipboard so I guess he decided to make his own referral so he could receive some kind of incentive. Unfortunately I probably won’t be going back to the store in the future unless this can be rectified. After an e-mail by Jacob, I was allowed to return my cases for a full refund. Ryan Beck is by far the very best you have ever had. Knowledgeable, patient, and understanding of frustrations we go through when trying to use a new phone. You need to keep him and his assistant Elena as long as possible, they are fantastic. Thank you so much for taking the time to patiently show me how to use my new phone and accessories! Read moreThe customer service rep in the store was very rude and ended up pushing a flip phone on me and charged me almost 200 dollars and I've had service with them for 10+ years and needed an update I had the same phone for 5 years and was due for a free update I told the rep and she still charged my account 180 dollars and she was rude about it I have had nothing but trouble with this new flip phone I've only had it for a week and the battery wont charge among other problems the phone is giving...this is not right you dont treat loyal...
