Duck Donuts — Restaurant in Nags Head

I visit this place at lot. But this location in Naggs Head didn't provide a good experience. I asked for a hot latte. She never mentioned after a certain time they don't make coffee. They just put out a coffee pot and you get cold milk which coll off the coffee. I got instead a cold latte with ice. I told the girl that is not what I wanted. She responded " oh sorry we dont make drinks after a certain time". Then didnt offer a refund. After I told her I hated cold coffee, she said " I could give you a cup, ypu can get coffee from the pot and I can pour molk in it". I thought ok well at keast will be hot coffee. Well after pouring the milk was cool down to room temperature. Asked can you heat it up? No we can't. My frustation was off the roof. Then I asked for just a bottle of water instead. So I got it which costed less than the coffee I asked for. Again not a refund or at least a partial refund for tge lesser drink. What kind of server wouldn't even mentioned at the beginning of the interaction that they dont make drinks to order. What kind of server font offer a refund if you see you omitted to communicate and the customer is upset. Honestly the only good thing was my hot donut. Wouldn't go back here. I think Starbucks in my eyes is 100% better. If the customer is not satisfied they make it right. These people...

Fair service, the dough guy during the night shift is slow, employees are rude to each other. Would have to give a 1 star beacuse of how employees act towards one another in the back. Also I have noticed that duck donuts has a contract or somthing with a foreign worker group so they can not fire their foreign workers, therefore if one of their foreign workers has a problem with a citizen of the us working at duck donuts, the citizen gets fired for made up reasoning, atleast thats what i was told by 2 of the Team Leaders Hailey and Nichole at duck donuts in nags head. I would not reccomend you go to the duck donuts nags head. First and Last time, didn't get to try any of your donuts. Stopped in on way out of town, walked in with a line, was asked to wait outside due to more than 10 people being inside. I understand Social Distancing, even though there were more than 10 when entered. I went outside, 2 customers proceeded to walk in when I walked out and were not asked to wait outside? Employee walked out and I asked about the 2 that walked in ahead of me, she proceeded to ask a couple customers that were waiting for donuts to wait outside and walked away.
