Sportsman's Warehouse — Local services in Naples

My experience at Sportsmans Warehouse Naples location was excellent. I do not want to discount other people's poor experiences. I read the reviews before visiting this location. I also visited the Cape Coral location. Same experience. Yes, they do have younger staff & some mature staff. I was asked if I needed help finding anything. This visit I did not need assistance. Checkout was quick & easy. They do have a large selection of ammunition for a large variety of guns & calibers. I found some interesting loadings for 357 magnum that I have never seen in stock at any other competitors' stores. I do enjoy shooting different types of ammunition & unique loadings are fun. They have a large selection, and I found various types of 22LR, 357mag, 9mm, and 10mm. I did not see 7.62x51 in stock. .308cal Yes. 5.56 Yes. All types of ammunition. Hunting loads, defensive loads, target loads, cowboy loads, and bear defense loads. I recommend spending an hour and really looking at what's on the shelves. You could be surprised at what you find. Never do I see 9mm in 115grain 124grain 149grain 158grain subs. Tons of options. Possibly a dollar or two higher than online. But you aren't paying shipping, and you can take your purchase home immediately. Point; Don't take reviews to heart, so people are having a bad day, and they take it out on businesses all the time. Even in my industry, I get bad reviews over the silliest issues. People are hyped up at the moment, complaining about everything. Go enjoy the store. Fishing. Hunting. Sports. It had been a few years since I'd been to a Sportsman's Warehouse, I remember this chain a while back from when I was out west on a road trip. This is now one of five locations in Florida, went in yesterday and I was really impressed with the firearms department (that's what I went in for so I didn't spend a lot of time in the other departments and can't really comment on them).

I went in for accessories, so I can't really comment on the firearms selection or prices. Selection of ammunition was just as good as Bass Pro Shops, but all the prices were better.

Best part was the large selection of holsters and magazines. They literally carried every brand of magazine, all the original manufacturer ones, plus all the aftermarket ones. Anything you wanted they had. I found two magazines I've been looking for for quite some time that I couldn't find in stock anywhere else. And the prices were good on both of them. I bought five items, three of them the prices were lower than online, the other two were the same as online.

THIS BUSINESS IS NOT 2A FRIENDLY! I stopped at this location today just to look around and maybe spend some money. As soon as I entered I was asked if I was carrying a concealed weapon. I was. Holstered and on my person. I was told it was store policy they I had to leave it in the car… I moved to Florida from New York specifically to get away from nonsense like this. So this will be my first and last trip to sportsman warehouse in Naples. The whole two minutes I spent in the store was highly disappointing. There are other and better places to look for sporting goods and firearm related items In the area that believe in freedom, the constitution, and people’s rights.
