Old Town Trolley Tours Nashville — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

I’ve taken the daytime tour in Nashville before as well in many other locations; however, last night’s (May 31) Soul Train tour knocked my socks off!

Mac (singer, guitar player, & trumpet player) was fantastic! His knowledge of the area certainly was spot on but his musicianship as well as teaching was out of this world. I learned so many things on the tour. His ability to play Johnny Cash and others you might expect in the country music capital of the world were complimented with him playing Thelonious Monk on the trumpet. I suspect the other tour “guides” are well taught but Mac certainly seemed to be a cut above. My children and wife can read, play, & sing; however, I learned a lot about time signatures and the building of different genres upon others shoulders and musicianship.

I would share some of my learnings like why Nashville is known as The Music City or why the Sarah Cannon Cancer Centers are named that way but it would spoil your adventure.
